Good for cohort creation and easy to use.
we can have data of only 2 month which is not good
We have use amplitude to see our user journey and tracked them using all our required event that help our business.
Amplitude Analytics helps to understand user behaviour & enhance the decision-making for a strong product
Amplitude Analytics' price is quite high in comparison to other available platform. for creating the custom events require the expertise knowledge
Amplitude help in understands the customer behaviour on the product side and according to its need we can take the decision on the product enhancement
The ease of using amplitude is unpralled when compared to the competitors available in market. The tracking of user journeys, custom events and chart creation is amazing
There isn't much to dislike only that the costing pinches a bit, had it been comparatively cost effective it would have been great.
It solves to a very great extent the task of tracking custom events, mapping user journeys, create and analyse segments and draw actionable insights for the next action
The features to create charts quickly is a killer feature and once you are used to it, you cannot switch or think of any other tool.
The only downside of Amplitude is the cost it comes at. It really pinches the startups or some financially weaker organisations.
We use Amplitude for daily analysis of the BAU and engagement on the product ona daily/weekly/monthly and regular intervals. We also use amplitude to benchmark it against the past period and do exhaustive analysis of what's working and what's not working.
Product, Digital, Mobile and Mobile App.
API is working but not very user friendly
help with our business analysis
Its easy to use, their SDK is pretty good, being able to download a custom function makes engineers life way esier to work with
there is not much to say, so far i had no problems using it
Understanding what my users are doing.
Ease of use and the Browser Extension to track event usage. The Browser Extension on Chrome does wonders
Handling of Uncategorized events, This can be better, It appears piled up, We could perhaps have some Artificial Intelligence to map this to the desired or intended work flows
Tracking usage of newer features, allowing to track usage and acceptance of workflows
1. Frontend data ingestion is almost 'real-time', which is good for us to do testing with immediate feedback. 2. Funnel & other chart types are very useful for analysis
1. Data Governance can be improved, more info is needed for us to manage events well 2. Billing by event volume is not ideal for trading platform where most advance-traders are hyper active on the trading page, which always trigger the events instrumented on that page (and costly) 3. More APIs are needed for deep automation
1. Data-mining and users interaction visualization 2. User path & journey analysis 3. Real-time monitoring of abnormal data 4. Product A/B testing and user auto-distributing
You can create events very quickly and it is very convenient to observe analytics
Sometimes it is quite difficult to understand what is what at the beginning of use
Its solving all the problems about analytics for mobile dev in our company
How easy it is to build charts with the collected data. Their UI is very intuitive and easy to use. Data loads pretty fast and the amount of customization is amazing.
There isn't a lot to dislike about Amplitude. They are doing a great job overall! The only thing I'd improve would be how dashboards are organized to make them more accessible and useful.
Building funnels to understand user behavior when running A/B tests. It's really easy to plot the different paths users are taking and see how the different variants are performing.
Amplitude is one of the best tools I have ever used for analytics. It is a well-designed, intuitive and snappy tool that has some amazing features. What amazes me the most is how quickly it is able to fetch and visualize vast amounts of data.
Amplitude is one the best-in-class tools for clickstream data analytics, but it is also one of the most expensive. It is also difficult to keep track of eventsand properties if users do not follow best practices right from the start. While Amplitude's integration with different platforms/frameworks is impressive, it still comes down to the tech stack and codebase of any company that's using Amplitude for tracking.
I am currently using Amplitude to understand how users use our digital products and identify areas that can be improved. Amplitude has enabled us to understand user interactions in great detail and take steps to improve user experience and engagement in many ways.
It´s usability and applications for e-commerces.
At this moment, it takes some steps to view data based on sessions instead of users.
Understanding usability gaps in my product and addressing them with the best solutions.
One of the features that I appreciate the most is the wide range of graphs and visualizations available. With Amplitude, I can create insightful visualizations with just a few clicks, making communicating to my team and stakeholders simple. The platform also provides valuable data and analytics tools, including customizable dashboards, user segmentation, and cohort analysis. These features make it easy for me to dive deep into my data and gain insights that I would otherwise have missed
I´d love to establish relationships between events based on attributes. A more powerful language to do math would also be appreciated.
Amplitude is helping to follow growth in usage, revenue, churn and other business KPIs.
It is easy to build charts. With Amplitude, you can answer almost every question about the usage of your product. You need to define what is essential for yourself.
It would help if you were technical enough to set up events here. If setting up events was as straightforward as creating charts, that would be fantastic. On the other hand I understand that not everything can be a one-click action.
We want to have deep analytics about products. In Amplitude, you can build charts very quickly. You need to have events set up. Amplitude does the rest. It helps me very much.
I like the easy way to build my dashboard, collect data and share it with the rest of my team/
Probably the price ;) other than that I don't see anything I dislike.
Tracking our user data. How do they use our product? identify the best cohort of users etc
It gives the tools and the knowledge to really become datadriven. Amplitude is built in such a way it eases you into doing data analysis and making sense of the data. It allows for simple analysis to really advanced stuff. Other tools are cluncky, heavy. Amplitude guides you alogn the way and a beautiful clear information architecture. Next to the tool Amplitude lifts your products skills and knowledge that you start thinking about success metrics at the start of every feature/project/innovation.
I like that you improve the product by changing how things work and are ordered. But sometimes you go a bit fast and introduce changes withouth giving me the proper time to get used to it. Next to that, I have the need to have company wide charts and dashboards, it feels a bit unorganised and have the idea a lot of people are creating the same charts. Next to that, some of my ways of working, is to quickly check something, so I tend to end up with a ton of draft charts.
Amplitude gives us insights in user behavior. Amplitude gives us the tools to think in what success means in terms of oberservable behavior. It gives us informed decision making, based upon numbers.
It is just exceptionally great - it saves hours of working, helping with everything - from understanding your users, planning for new features, AB testing them and monitoring your product health altogether.
Sometimes load times could be a bit long. Also, it would be great to see some sort of re-do of "pathfinder" feature as now it isn't very helpful.
Literally anything - from coming up with new solutions to AB testing to monitoring release health to some deep dives into funnels and looking for things to improve. I also track revenue and overall product health daily with dashboards.
It's an easy way to create insights on your products usage without having to bother any developers about it.
it's not easy to understand all events that are in the dashboard. would be better if developers could add documentation about it.
We can understand what people are doing and how many active users we have in a very granular way.
* Clear and aesthetic visualizations * Simple user interface * Ability to maintain documentation on events and properties * Variety of visualizations * Variety of time granularities
* Reporting on other type of property levels (IDs) requires purchase of addon
Self-service insights for other colleagues into user behaviour. More autonomy and data-driven decision making for Product teams, less help needed from Data team
Pathfinder makes it very easy to determine conversion points and drop offs. It also makes conversion analysis a breeze with funnel analysis and event segmentation.
I wish that the identity resolution that Amplitude applies to map users across their journey correctly would be more transparent. I know this is a special secret, but I wish it weren't.
Understanding the user journey without having to create data models for it. Makes it easy for less technical users to understand what is going on in the business.
