It is easy for employees to use, as well at our Accountants.
The billing structure is questionable. We are billed for blocks of employees but some of our staff is seasonal so annual billing may not be appropriate.
Allow for an easy to use time tracking software for our employees so we can provide accurate invoices to clients.

The main reason I am so pleased with BigTime is their Customer Service team members, especially the Customer Success Managers . They are so knowledgeable about the software they use and how to make it work for our company, they are easy to talk to, and they are super quick with troubleshooting, quick fixes and work-arounds. One thing I love about working with Colton Ksiazek and Tejaci Patel is that they feel like a friend I could reach out to about any issues I encounter. They are always happy to help making sure BigTime works and functions how I need for our company (we are very specific!). They go above and beyond, even learning code to ensure that everything is as detailed as we wanted it to be. My issues are always heard with open ears and a willingess to ensure I leave our meetings happy with the results. Very pleased : )
I currently don't see any downsides, and althought the company is quite young, I see this as only unexplored growth and potential. While some things are not yet available in BigTime (certain functions or options), BigTime encourages feedback to allow for continious changes and growth to meet the needs of their cients.
Our invoices were able to be created by the automated software BT provides, but when we wanted a different template and none of the options available to use created what we wanted, BT fixed it by allowing us to code our very own template.

Project management features are still a bit too in the weeds for our use.
Turning billable hours into invoiced time
It is very user friendly and the support staff is great. Brittany U. started a Zoom call with me and we resolved the issue right away. The support staff are quick to either answer your questions, or get back to you with the answer. BigTime makes invoicing and getting paid quickly through BigTime wallet so easy. We notice we are getting paid faster using BigTime.
Everything is great so far, so no complaints.
It is making invoicing so much easier that it syncs with Quickbooks. It also makes getting paid faster using BigTime wallet.

We have just started using BigTime but so far loving the dashboard, and the onboarding and implementation process is incredibly thorough. We're still new to using the system, but the amount of information stored and the accessibility of reporting is really helpful.
The only thing so far that we could do with is an easier way to migrate time and projects from our existing (old) system into the new one. As it stands, we'll be doing a phased approach to working in the BigTime platform, only opening new projects in the system so that eventually we'll be fully functional.
Time tracking and project management for tasks and resource. We work across a number of different clients, and numerous projects at any one time, so to have visibility of the time that we're spending on projects and be able to easily access that in useable reports is vital. The transparency into where we're over-servicing projects, or potentially going over-budget with tasks, is really valuable to ensure that we're able to quote on jobs correctly in the future, and ultimately deliver profitable campaigns to the business.
The project tracking, staff management, hours and fees budgets, invoicing, and easy link to Quickbook Online makes running our business so much easier.
There are some reports that seem to pull different information or aren't editable as much as we need. It would also be nice if there were better ways to rollover/create annual engagements without deleting previous information.
We used to use several different programs that didn't work very well for us, that Big Time can do for us very well. It saves time having to jump between different windows and pages, and being able to see a lot of our firm's functionality and real-time data in one place is amazing.
I think the invoicing system is very helpful and allows for smooth transactions. Also live chat is very helpful!!!

Wish I could make more customized reports
The issue today was an expense was not showing up on my invoice. The rep assisted with troubleshooting and getting the expense onto the inovice. Jake Stempel was the rep who assisted me.
The reports and ability to customize them is extremely helpful. I especially like being able to create public reports for the Project Managers so they aren't constantly asking me to run a report for them.
I have to integrate with QBO in order to get vendors set up in BigTime, even though otherwise I don't need to sync these 2 programs.
Billing and cost accounting
I absolutely love the quick customer service. Anytime I have had problem they have been solved in minutes.
Not being able to do general statements of past due balances.
So easy for my attorneys to enter their own time.
They are quick to respond to inquiries whatever needs we have. Brittany has also helped me with an urgent task earlier and she was straightforward in answering my question. Love their team!

They have made our timekeeping process easy
The more I learn about the software and the more data our company can populate, the more valuable it becomes. I can get reports, timecards, invoices, project tracking, budget info, etc. all in one place and one program. BigTime is constantly releasing upgrades per client requests and continuing to improve the software in the direction their clients are asking.
My least favorite thing is being unable to pick up the phone and talk to someone. However, BigTime has good availability Live Chat, and most of the people I've messaged with are knowledgeable enough to help me solve my problem. I would say 8 out of 10 times, I've been able to resolve my question over a Live Chat session, the other 2 needed more follow-up, but that could also be the complexity of my requests ;)
BigTime is helping our company organize projects, time, and budgets all in one place. As we've grown and continued to grow, we needed a better way to track project timelines, task budgets, and allocate staff in a way that allows everything to see what they need to see in order to do their job efficiently while continuing to stay organized.
I find BigTime very easy to use for both myself and our employees. It has a very fast learning curve, so we can get down to business right away. I also love the fact that their customer service is always very good. I just had a chat with Jake Stempel for an issue I was having - he logged in fast, found my issue and solved it. All within less than 5 minutes. Great service!
The only issue I have with BigTIme is that sometimes I cannot upload my expenses to Quickbooks. It gets frozen when I click yes to upload. Then I have to wait a day or two in order to get it to work.
It allows us to keep track of all of our expenses and the hours spent on projects for our employees. It also allows billing for all of our independent consultants and contractors.
I found the immediate Zoom session very helpful. Jake S. was on live chat and was able to immediately send a Zoom, see what my issues were, and assist in solving the problems.
The link to QB makes my QB run very slowly. After 2 years, still cannot get that worked out.
Invoicing, making it more streamlined
The Live Chat feature is a life saver. Whenever an issue is arising that we are not sure about, due to the in depth nature of BigTimes functionality and features, the live chat function is super easy to use, and Tyler G. was an awesome support representative and talk me through how to resolve the issue in just a few short minutes.
I would really like to see a new feature be integrated within bigtime's project tracking to include a comparison of the Budgeted Time and the Actual Time logged on a per project basis in the quick glance view, like on a dashboard. This would also be great to see for a breakdown of profit, not only by project, but by Client as a whole, since within our company there are different managers for different clients.
Being able to see overviews of projects, statuses, and financial information, all in one place, rather than having to run multiple reports and either combine them in a software or print them out and make the combinations happen manually.
Very easy to use and has very responsive technical support. We had an issue after upgrading QuickBooks, and Britanny fixed it in five minutes over Zoom.
It's a tad expensive, but the time savings make up for it.

BigTime has easy-to-access customer support, and all representatives have been helpful in troubleshooting our issues or escalating to someone who can help us. We are happy with the team we have assigned to us! Live chat is a nice feature. Leah J helped me with an issue very quickly and ensured we had our report looking as we needed it to!
The only issue we've had with BigTime is implementation/features. There are a few things that take some tweaking on our end to get our workflow with Quickbooks Online sorted out. Our implementation specialist, Ryan has been great at helping us find ways around this.
BigTime is helping our Project Managers to be able to track their budgets. We enjoy the ability to create tasks that staffers can log time against for budget tracking.
I am learning the system now. I will have more later.
Waiting for tech support. The time spent waiting is tough. It really slows down my workday.
