I get extensive data on my projects in real time. The dashboard is intuitive and it's easy to stay on top of the administrative tasks. The support team is great! Tyler Gubser has provided quick and clear solutions.
Some of the reports can be tricky to find at first, but it isn't a problem once you get used to where to look. There are so many reports available that it's just a lot to look through at first.
In the past, other programs have made it difficult to collaborate on a project as a team and to see how everyone's workflow comes together. Big time is a great solution for that.

We cannot process monthly/quarterly billings as a one-click option anymore.
Big Time has been helping us with reports and making sure the Quick Books integration is working the way it should
Chat support is helpful. Online timesheets are relatively easy for employees to fill out.
Reports are not intuitive and it takes a lot of effort to get setup specific to your business needs. Need someone dedicated to administration, especially in the early stages.
At the moment, mostly just with time tracking.
How easy it is to use. The Knowledgebase has much of the information you need to get up and running ahead of implementation. It is user-riendly and intuitive.
There is nothing we dislike about BigTime. It fits with all that we need and it's easy and quick to use.

We are a small firm, so the syncing ability with Quickbooks is a big selling point for our company. It has been so helpful in verifying information. The sync feature also allows us to create projects in Bigtime that aren't in a billing phase yet and hold them there until we are awarded the project.
It's a little early for this question for our firm, but my only complaint so far is that the invoice template is not as customizable as the templates in QuickBooks.
BigTime saves our admin and accounting department so much time. We previously tracked time in Quickbooks, which was all input by hand. With BigTime, employees log their time, and with a few buttons, we can send all of our employees' timesheet data to Quickbooks for payroll. We are also delighted with its ability to track time spent on phases. We are excited to use the data from our first year using BigTime to reconfigure our fee structure.
The ability to use for time and expense reports, allows us to use these reports to prep payroll and expense checks.
Its a bit complex and takes some getting used to.
We have been able to track time spent on projects better after deploying Big Time and keep a closer eye on resources. The time sheet function has made our payroll reports easier to produce than our previous platform.

The team at Big Time has been the most helpful. Example, Tyler Gubser solved my issue with new projects coming over to Quickbooks today via Zoom after the online chat was insufficient. Big help!!
The only thing I dislike about Big Time is the workarounds connecting to Quickbooks. Unfortunately, it is out of their control. As long as they remedy the issues as they come, I will continue to benefit from the program.

Resource planning and time management; Invoicing
The ease of synchronization with QuickBooks Online now is so much better than it was before. The depth of the uses that the data can provide is fantastic.
I want BigTime to be able to accept payments so I do not have to use QuickBooks Online. If BigTime could also do banking, it would save one step in the process.
BigTime helps us as owners solve our problem of knowing how productive our staff is and how profitable each job is at any given time without spending hours figuring it out.

BigTime is allowing me and my company to really track how much time we spend on a specific client task and where we could be wasting time and how we can improve in that area.
It is easy to configure and integrates well with QuickBooks. We can configure a single resource with multiple cost rates and bill rates. Highly configurable.
They are constantly enhancing the platform, so sometimes there are little bugs. But that isn't too big of a deal since it is so feature-rich in what we need.

Ryan Anderl has been great in taking us through the onboarding and training process with BigTime. He has been patient and clear as we ask him similar questions over and over. As I re-listen to the recordings of our calls, I see what demanding clients we have been. We talk among ourselves and are undecided about what we want to show up on invoicing. We interrupt and talk over Ryan at times, yet he patiently waits. Rather than just quickly show us how it is done, he lets me 'drive' so I can learn the process for the next go around. BigTime is a very robust and flexible program with lots of options and lots of ways to get similar results. Ryan shows us these options but emphasizes the quickest, easiest or most effective way to get the results we want. We are very pleased with BigTime's integration with Quickbooks.

BigTime checks all the boxes for us. It allows contractors to submit time, it integrates with Quickbooks, it can keep track of project budgets and % complete.
I like the premier version and Daniel Novak as my customer support manager! Daniel Novak has been outstanding to work with since he joined Bigtime! He truly is an ambassador of customer service, before he joined bigtime we were unsure if we would join back up, but since he has we feel confident in the partnership. I can't say enough good things about Daniel!

I love the ability to be able to track my team's time for invoicing as well as do my invoicing and send my invoices all from one place. Having the ability for all the time tracking, invoices, and payments all in one place is extremely helpful as well as being able to access remotely at anytime.
There are some features that every now and then don't quite work correctly. Sometimes i have to manually send invoices becuase bigtime wont let me send specific invoices. i also wish there were project specific dashboards related to invoicing so i can see budget and billing in one place and not have to have multiple screens open.
Right now i'm not sure if any problems haven't been solved. typically when i reach out i get a concrete response from the bigtime team. Today i reached out about read recipets on invoices and that is currently not a feature and made a request for it.

We utilized scheduling and project management systems to monitor the duration of a project, but we also maintained a careful check on expenditures, which was the frosting on the cake. I adore the user interface of Big time.
