The simplicity of the dashboard. JIRA has all the important and the most relevant options available on its dash which lets you focus on what is truly important.
Well, quite frankly there is not many things i dislike about JIRA. Have been using it since the last 7 years and I have found it amazing. Only the text formatting while adding comments messes up sometimes but very rarely.
Better productivity with the team members with distributed tasks. It makes it really simple to know who is working on what. The SQL query is a powerful way to filter exactly what you are looking for.
it is the simplest platform that I have ever used to report a problem. On top of that the team is quite fast and they are doing their job pretty effectively which gives us an amazing result in the end
The thing I dislike is the visibility of the tickets. Unfortunately, the platform does not let us view a ticket if we are not included in it. In my opinion, when we are working in the same company the issues are common for us, we should be able to view the tickets
With the help of the Jira our Tech is solving different issues, bugs and problems regarding accesses for the users. Benefit is the same which I have already mentioned above - its very easy to use
I love the layout, checking history. Being able to filter the tasks. And we are able to see every comment's details like the exact date. Also it is really easy pull a report Being able to open the task in a new tab is also so precious. Attaching cards to each other also makes things easier.
Sometimes due to the load of tasks we are handling it may give us hard time loading a whole page. When you try to search something in the search bar, it may remove some of the letters you are writing down may cause typo or you need to write down the exact thing to locate the correct issue.
Confluence is the best for taking notes for your whole team. Also, it is allowing kanban working which is the best model for our support team. It is also easy to get a report for a performance individually.
The clean and easy organization of the roadmap
There is nothing that I dislike about jira
We organized the roadmap activities with jira, the integration with gitlab helps the developers organize their activities, the integration with canny helps product to organize whats coming from the backlog.
It is a very efficient software and it is what I like the most, I like its simplicity and versatility, it has Kanban-style boards that are easy to use and customize, it is easy to create tasks and at the same time create subtasks, and it also allows you to create different types of flows of work, I liked that the software is very intuitive and the administration is very easy, I can monitor and follow multiple dashboards, the reporting system is really simple and practical, it is also very easy to see the tickets and I like that I can see everything at real-time, it's very easy to order everything and I love the style of the boards.
It's a great tool and I really had no problems with the platform.
I love the way it integrates with other software like GitHub or Slack, it makes it even more powerful, it works efficiently so you can save and manage time better, and it's very useful for planning the roadmap, I love how It is useful for working and collaborating as a team, the workflow can be optimally customized, tasks and projects can also be created and customized, the administration is pleasant and I love that each tool is very user-friendly, it is perfect to track down issues, it's overly customizable, I love its interface.
I love the user interface, it is very intuitive, I like it a lot because it is very friendly and understandable, the user can adapt very quickly to its functions, I love it because it is very good for organizing and carrying out my tasks and projects, I love its Scrum and Kanban boards, it is very visualizing the workflow, it is very useful because I can see the progress of the tasks in real-time, I like it because it is very easy to generate a report with this tool, it integrates very well with Trello and Slack, the project management is optimal.
I did not find any negative details when using this platform.
It is excellent for team collaboration, I love that I can customize it as much as I want, I love its intuitive interface, I also love its excellent notification system, the search is very good and efficient, and it is very easy to share files, the way to generate Reporting is excellent, it's perfect for saving time, the administration improves a lot, I like how easy it is to attach images when creating a file, it integrates with Hip Chat and Slack, it's very visually pleasing and allows me to follow absolutely everything.
JQL is one of the best features of other project management and issue tracking solutions. Also easy search and filtering options, Best for the plugin to manage dashboard and lots of others.
Mostly I liked it but need some extra features like some advanced plugin for managing the dashboard. Also, search options need some extra features when searching text.
In my daily life using Jira as I am a Software developer
Easy to use Simple UI. Creation sprint and managing sprint is simple.
Subtask is hidden and when you select subtask then it will visible.
project management. create story/bug.
Jira Best Project Management tool that comes with a very large number of services for the development team, Quality teams and Other teams also, we can create bugs, defects and it is very easy to track the progress. one of the best and my favorite is there are a lot of ways to represent and see the data in the very user-friendly Dashboard. Jira Integration is also the best we can integrate many tools with Jira like Confluence, Xray, Bitbucket and Other many Tools easily.
Using it for last one year on daily basis till now no issue with it,
Using it for Daily Dask assigned by Team.
It is very easy to use, plus you have all the tools you need in one single place and at the same time you can integrate many vendors with it like google, ms teams, etc
Something i disliked is that you need to go to another page inside the same jira to use documents, in that case it also integrates with the Jira work management but anyways its outside the interface, also you have to put before use the permissions to anyone that is going in the same workflow
Workflow Management Organizational tasks schedule & calendar One of the benefits is the board scheme, where you can see whats done, in progress, to do list, and you can customize that
The user interface is really good in jira Very Easy to adapt functionality and ticket or dashboard creation is very easy, you can analyse or track your task as per your convenience
There is not much to write about what I dislike but in jira more functionality and more features can be added
I have solved multiple bugs and also track all the thing in sprint and complete the sprint on time
Jira allows us to keep the scrum masters informed about what we are working on, improves the work methodology.
There is not much to dislike about Jira, but it is a very complete application to manage business projects.
Jira solves many problems when it comes to creating weapons and making pull requests makes them easier, Jira has many benefits for developers when it comes to having their daily activities well defined.
The design is very friendly to the people, I have a lot of many utilities to organize my work
The notifications or the way to find some Jira sometimes is hard or is slow
To develop mobile apps, I use Jira to put all the points and in that way, I can have it all organized
Tracking of task , issues , deliverable all are available at one place so its very helpful for agile team
UI of jira could become more simple as its compitive software like Microsoft software TFS
When working in large team it requires tracking of time for each activity and jira helps to do all those task and helps to work more collaboratively
Jira is supported by many integrated applications. The best feature is it can be connected with other Atlassian tools like BitBucket, and Confluence. Compare to other tools JIRA is very customizable.
For ticket status updates, we need to refresh to get the updates. Sometimes when there are a lot of tickets, it takes some time to load that. If JIRA can show the sub tasks with its Tasks it would be better to see the hierarchy.
Software project management works get easy with the use of JIRA. it helps to keep the workflow properly and can manage time, get decisions for future with the current status of the project.
Sprint and release process Confluence documents
If we can graphically check our sprints spill over that would be great
Sprint task, releases and confluence are the one I like so much
I Like to Create Bugs and tasks and Execute the Test Cases Cycle. Management of Bugs Tracking is the most useful feature and Execute the Test Cycle is the most amazing feature
one of the most disliked things about JIRA is that we can not able to automate test cases, we can not able to code review, and also there will be no connectivity with Bugzilla or any other bug tracking tool.
The Problem I solving in Jira is To Check the Bugs Fixed by the Developer and Test the Issue which is Been Fixed for Improvement in the quality of that particular Product.
What I liked the most is that the team collaboration is easy, it is very easy to manage projects, I love the simple interface, the creation and administration of the boards are also easy, I like the ability to filter the search of the software, it is really powerful, I like their Kanban and Scrum style boards, I can have a real-time follow-up of the stories, the notifications work perfectly, the dashboard is easy to manage, really detailed, the ticket management is easy, I love the function of drag and drop, it is also very flexible and the workflow s, I can add due dates and descriptions as well as attach files, it is a software that can be handled well in a very short time.
I had no unpleasantness or complications when using this platform.
It is really very complete, it has a high customization capacity that is very useful and pleasant for the user, it integrates very well with other software such as Slack, GitLab or SonarQube, I love the notification system, it is very robust, it is easy to follow the current status of tasks, it is very easy to add comments to tasks, share files, reports can be created as well as roadmaps, everything can be managed from the panel, it offers precise monitoring, I like the ease of creating tasks and subtasks as well as color-coding.
Its Dynamic way of handling user stories with Bitbucket Intigration..that makes it way easy to know who, when and what its was worked on. Also Confluence is another example that you know need a separate tool have a release notes or new implementation to share with team members.
Some of the service lack Easy to use UI. Its ok but not the best UI need to be worked on and newest overhaul of UI is borderline Good. Most the Bitbucket connection are either gone or replaced with something need again quick tutorial to understand and use.
Better team management. As it made work from home easy. My team and i can work seamlessly on on User story and receive timely notifications on what's new or what's changed.
It's very intuitive and widely used. Every company that I have worked for uses JIRA.
Ease of use and understandability is dependent on how flows are set up. So the teams need to understand that. Often times in organizations, working teams are not involved in that process making the flow confusing. This is not necessarily a software problem.
Helps our team stay organized. I as a product manager can easily go into my Kanban board and review work in progress and what released already. We can also highlight dependencies in tickets which is helpful.
