The ability to search through SOs and POs is very easy and convenient .
The program constantly asks me if I want to update to the new software every time I log in.
It connects with our ERP system well.
I can keep records for many customers. The other version has too few customer numbers.
It’s so complicated to use. It’s not user friendly and has problems syncing with multiple users.
Keeping high volumes of records.
Great for setting up vendor lists and setting up for check writing. Easy to review checks before printing, Great for 1099's, it fills out the forms for you and you just print. My boss was not very tech savvy and had no problem learning to use the software.
We had an issue updating vendors. Seems like it should have been easy but we had to call support to get the vendor list to update.
We were filling out 1099's by hand previously and this software made it so much simpler. We could pull the vendors we need to send them too and it would print the forms.
Reporting is simple. Reconciling and bank feeds is pretty simple, although i wish the vendor name would autofill in the vendor field. Right now, it just goes into the memo, if that.
Wish I could use the online version for multiple companies that I run. But it gets costly for a solopreneur who is running several entities. So I go with the desktop version because it doesn't cost me anything extra. The biggest downside is I can't have multiple companies open at the same time. I have to close one before i can open another one.
Reporting is simple. I like the year to year comparison with %/$ change
Easy to enter transactions. Clear user interface.
Constant updates. Mac doesnt always play well with windows
Nothing in particular. Just used for basic accounting
It's very easy to use even for those without an accounting degree.
It does not do in depth reporting. Not the best software for construction accounting.
It's an easy to balance your books.
That you are able to pull so many different variations of reports that best suit the business.
To many ways to find the same information - sometimes it works out but other times it just gets confusing.
Bookkeeping - it keeps all the information in on centralized location
I've been a fan of the intuit products. So I like how the quickbooks can auto load into TurboTax
Does not meet our needs. Very difficult to keep track of specific contract information pertaining to finances.
Were not. Quickbooks does not really meet our needs. We're transitioning to Deltek costpoint
Easy interface for use and realtime views.
Can't account for values less than a penny
No problems just day to day operations
Adding information about deposits or writing a check.
I do not like the navigation of inputting data.
To keep track of spending and donations.
easy to use and has alot of cool features
It has its limitations and is not as easy to use as zuora
The business problems it solves is documenting.
Enterprise will serve your accounting needs during the mid-growth phase of a company. The reporting features are robust with the community input and the ability to create and memorize reports. Audit trail is a wonderful feature to track down where an error occurred and allow employee coaching...however there is no search function to the audit trail so be prepared with a pot of coffee when searching for an error - unless you are a small company and you know the exact day the error occurred. We've been able to rig Enterprise to work with our specific company accounting demands with a little creativity and ingenuity.
A HUGE dislike is the constant, large fees that Intuit is always pushing. When Enterprise stopped being offered via software option and the only option was cloud-based, we were done. No more thousands of dollars to renew & update and no hefty monthly fees. Another HUGE dislike is the 1M cap on customers and inventory items with significant software slow-down when a larger list is built.
Better control over finances, better reporting features to allow for accurate ROI capture.
Quickbooks makes creating invoices and sending them to the appropriate clientele easy. It is straightforward to navigate and able to use from pretty much anywhere
The updates for Quickbooks. I dread them. Every time Quickbooks sends out a new update, it's like they are trying to make the system harder for people to use. It is frustrating to get used to doing things for so long and knowing where everything is located, and then you get hit with an update that changes everything around and makes it much more difficult to use. Also, anytime something is not working correctly on the site; I cannot receive any help unless I pay more. That is ridiculous. I already paid for Quickbooks; then, I am expected to upgrade and pay extra if their site is not working correctly. I had called support before when the site was having a bunch of glitches and problems and was told on the phone that they could not help me unless I upgraded my package/membership with them.
Unfortunately, I have more bad things to say about Quickbooks than good. I have many issues that I cannot figure out a solution to on the site, and they aren't fixing the problems, so I am not being benefited with any answers.
intuitive, when working properly, self explanatory mostly
Crashes, times out, and gets stuck in wrong mode.
bookkeeping
I like the integrations that are available for Quickbooks, making it pretty flexible
The reports and exports are tough to utilize. There is a lot of inconsistent and messy data that hurts our confidence in the software.
There were benefits when we started with QuickBooks and came from not having proper software. Now we have outgrown it.
Works very well as a general ledger, but not as an invoicing system.
Sending invoices is very difficult. AR Management isn't as easy as it should be.
Syncs to our cloud based invoicing system as well as with Stripe.
I liked the idea that so many others had recommended this product, alas, it was a bad fit for my bookkeeping needs
There were too many holes to fill in...too
Absolutely none. It did not mesh with or transfer over well with the system we had in place already.
Easy to use, and very user friendly. Can teach anyone.
Very close to open to process credit cards

I used this software when at NACURH. It was a good software for our purposes, but not great.
It had limitations, and wasn't super easy to use. We ultimately switched to Xero.
Ability to record activity of nonprofit.
It has all the necessary features for accounting such as receivables, payables, banking, payroll etc.
I do not like to use it as its not user friendly.
We use all the necessary features for accounting such as receivables, payables, reporting, banking.
