Stackby is a cost-effective and very powerful online Spreadsheet, With powerful API connections and automation, its the most used tool for our business. We use it for managing projects, tracking SEOs of websites, Video production management and financial database. Its 10 times cost effective than another popular tool. Stackby can be used in several businesses and multiple purposes
They can add more case studies and more templates for more business fields.
Task management, content writers management, forms and lite crm from our website. It helps in managing our content writers and their content upload, financial calculations and lot more via APIS
It covers all the basics for an online relational database well at a fraction of the price of Airtable. It's got a straightforward UI (very similar to Airtable). Getting data in and out is simple. Great value for money, especially on a lifetime deal.
The integrations can be patchy, especially when you stray off the beaten path away from market leaders like Zapier or Mailchimp to more unusual vendors. There are a few unexpected behaviours and you have to be careful with data typing.
Great for simple relational databases for small teams. It's saved lots of money compared with Airtable when you don't need that level of detail.
It is really great that it works flawlesly and with a mobile app so I can make changes while on commute. It is improving every week and It is getting really good, even better than Airtable at some points. If you are looking for a no-code platform for your business, this is one of the best options I found.
At this time I can't group rows by cell values and it is very important to me, but I know that It will be added sometime soon, so I am not worried about that at this moment.
I have a contol panel for my business so I can make decisions on the go because I see a big picture of how is it going at any moment and get realtime feedback about finance and projects. Of course, being a no-code platform helped me a lot to get more that I could even imagine without programming knowledge
I like that Stackby easily manages projects in one secure platform. Tracking both time and expenses utilized on projects is easy.
Stackby though tends to lag behind while when the internet is poor and doesn't have offline access capabilities.
I am now able to manage tasks and projects in an encrypted location.
The value of the product as well as it being very useful for my business.
I really do not have any dislikes for it so far.
I have been using it to track of custom DNS entries that I enter for clients domains/websites. Using the form makes it so easy to populate the tables with the information making it a time saver.
We use Gsheets for a lot of tasks we do within our consulting company, but, it lacks integrations with other essential tools, like Ahrefs, Facebook Ads metrics and a much more. You need to use plugins and pay premium, which can become very expensive, also, with a lot of moving parts that can go wrong. Stackby is now an essential tool on our tech belt, it's a spreadsheet, a database system and a lot of API integrations, you can also set formulas. We are saving a ton of time, and a ton of money using this tool. If you need to control something, and don't want to sell a kidney to do it, use this Stackby.
I would like to see a more modern UI, the current one feels outdated, but, that doesn't cause problems to the use.
We use it to gather relevant data from different sources, and use the flexibility of this tool to manage clients and our own assets. The integrations, like Facebook Ads, Analytics and others, make it very easy to have a bird eye view of all our operations.
Whether you want to organise data, create systems, keep track of your sales, your marketing, your business assets, and the use cases go on and on and on, this tool can help you achieve that. Also with the new Zapier (Beta) integration it opens up possibilities to bring data to and from the rest of your technology ecosystem.
Is it all fireworks and champagne? No. Not yet. There are a few functional things I've encountered that need improvement. The good news about this though is the company is super responsive and get's to work fast to solve stuff.
The two main use cases I've started using with Stackby are as a Digital Asset Management System (for my business and I've set up one of my clients in the same way ... they purchased multiple codes also) and as a Deal Management System for financial transactions. Given I'm in the PE/VC space I was pleasantly surprised that the system had relevant templates for this industry already out of the box, in addition to loads of other (what look like) very useful templates. I've poked around several and love how the one's I've checked out have been put together. It feels like whoever created them knows the requirements of the respective industries.
For an SMB, a true database tool is a lifesaver if you are targeting getting organized and future growth. Stakby checks all the boxes from user permissions to a straightforward UI. Plus it has connector integrations with Zapier and Pabbly.
Analytics and reporting could be better. There are some basic reporting tools but thats the next real frontier.
Capturing records that require multiple inputs. Getting data to be relationally connected. Serving a a primary database with automatic redundancy with GSheets
