Easy to setup, swiss-army knife of SEO. I especially like the Content Editor feature, that let's you pick keywords you want to rank for and then gives you an idea on which topics to write about for that specific keyword.

SurferSEO has quickly become one of my favorites among the numerous AI-assisted SEO tools I've been using for content production in the last six months. ( 1 ) Comprehensive Outlines with Keywords - I used tools that are specific for keyword research and compared the results with the content planner in SurferSEO. It pretty much showed all the valuable keywords, questions, headings across its various sections. So it saves time, makes it easy, and is great to start even if you didn't do much keyword research. ( 2 ) Contextual Output - When I wanted to write something specific about a topic, "what-why-how-when" Content Editor gave me by far the best results. Other tools were writing generic information about the topic that was not relevant to what I was seeking in a heading. But pretty much every output from SurferSEO was on point. ( 3 ) Ideas and Perspectives - As I keep writing in SurferSEO, I often discover so many new ideas and content on a topic. Many times, I could turn an entire section/heading into a completely new article too.

SEO optimization can be done within minutes, using AI based analysis

I love how it shows my content (after it's written) against the top-ranking results for my keywords. This helps me increase/decrease key pieces when needed. The content editor helps you improve your entire blog post to increase the likelihood of ranking highest.

The user interface can be slightly confusing and a lot of features are still in "beta" so it's hard to trust them. I know this company will continue to improve on its already stellar product.

Surfer is super easy. Love the UI. You are moving around the tools with no effort completely intuitive. Content editor precisely targets location across the US and UK with natural language processing option.

The on page analysis is very mind blowing at first and with no advanced knowledge in SEO you might be puzzled how to start with but theri webinars are pretty helpful.

How to optimize content. What other keyword related to the core keyword should you use. The content length based on the TOP 10 results. Keyword research show high percentage similarities telling you that the same keyword has other synonyms but in fact the search intent is almost same so that's pretty useful .

I love that this tool lets me know exactly what Google is looking for in a search term. The competitor analysis also saves me a ton of time and digging.

Every once in a while, the heading terms and keywords they suggest don't seem to fit into the article naturally. This doesn't happen often, and it's a minor grievance.

Being confident that I'm writing the best article I can on a given subject. There is one thing about writing something well and another with writing something well and giving Google what it wants. I've realized more consistent content output that is of high quality.

My favourite feature is the audit and content planner. They give you the groundwork extremely quickly to establish a content strategy. From there you can use the content editor to build out each page with the right length and density and related keyword mix.

Not being able to purchase editor credits. Or at least I wish there were plans in between the current ones.

It is a key part of a focused strategy. It's easy to get sidetracked with SEO and surfer helps automate the important stuff. This lets you focus on getting things done.

I love how you get feedback on content quality when writing an article. The research tool is excellent too. Actually, the whole product is fantastic and is rapidly becoming an indispensable part of my workflow. Highly recommend

There is a bit of a learning curve (not too steep) but that's to be expected with a tool of this quality.

I'm using Surfer to generate content clusters and help write and optimise articles.

I love the massive amount of time saved, how easy it is to digest the data and how easy it is to track my content quality.

There are a couple of minor UI adjustments I would like to see implemented but these are pretty petty on an otherwise very nice and easy to use tool.

I work in a small team and with Surfer I can get weeks worth of research in minutes. This is invaluable considering I have very little time to spend on SEO related tasks. It is also a tool that can easily be explained to decision makers and it is instantly easy to see why it has value.

I like that it analyzes your pages to tell you what you need to do.

It's easy to use. The content creation tool is very intuitive. You don't even need to read a tutorial to start using it.

I may be nitpicking but, when you use multiple keywords, whether in the audit or content creation tool, you cannot use commas to separate them. You need to use single lines, and if you hit enter by accident, you lost your credit point.

We have very old content that needs to be improved with the trends. Surfer helps us to deliver what users are actually looking for.

I love the content editor and how it works with Jarvis.

The navigation is a little confusing. Text boxes with explanations on what certain features do and what not would be helpful!

They are helping to find what keywords need to be on a page to rank.

Surfer helped me to optimize content for some existing pages that were already ranking in the top 10 results for my keywords. After using Surfer the pages moved up a couple of rankings, which makes the monthly cost of Surfer well worth it because of the decrease in advertising spend to reach our lead goal.

Although the results with Surfer are great, I wish the interface was more like the interface of a competitor that offers a much better way to present much of the data. That said, it's the increase of rankings that's the goal and Surfer does this much better than that competitor.

I was attempting to increase the rankings of some of my websites and Surfer helped me to do this.

All the functions, and that they are realeasing new features all the time, and often improve the software

Content Editor is one tool I use all day long. As a copywriter, it has made things so much easier and more process-friendly to see all the NLP KWs.

Nothing to dislike, every part of the tool is easy to use.

The NLP integration is so easy to use and set up. it tells me exactly what to target for optimum KW density.

I'm just getting started with Surfer SEO but the software is incredibly feature-rich! I'm incredibly excited about the increase in the production of SEO-friendly content, using Surfer SEO!

I haven't found anything I dislike yet, except for the price. Looks like it will be worth it though!

You get very dependent on the program because it is so easy and powerful. The drawback of this is that you might sometimes agree to changes that you don't fully understand.

Having almost a million words in old articles means that some of them are outdated and not optimized to new google standards. SurferSeo has made it easy for us to update and optimize our articles, and in return, we have achieved more rankings and top spots in Google.

This takes all the guesswork out of writing well-optimized articles.

Keyword grouping gets a little far out on local search results.

This has cut my time optimizing articles drastically. No problems with Surfer except running out of credits too fast.
