"easy to use live chat on wordpress"
What do you like best about tawk.to?

I like their mobile app for replying to live chat easy to use Their WordPress plugin is easy to integrate it looks good on my website I have not found critical bugs till now

What do you dislike about tawk.to?

i have no issue with the plugin but am curious to have more customization

I like the user interface, and how fairly easy to use.

There seems to be so much customization available and that can be daunting.

What do you like best about tawk.to?

I love that there is a mobile app. If I’m not near my computer I can still respond to inquiries.

What do you dislike about tawk.to?

I feel like it goes into sleep mode a little fast but that’s not a big deal really.

What problems is tawk.to solving and how is that benefiting you?

We aren’t on campus to answer questions as we usually would be and this is a good way to connect with students visiting our site.

What do you like best about tawk.to?

I like the ability to quickly join a chat and answer questions. There are other interesting features as well like an automated response when a live chat agent doesn’t join a new conversation within a short period of time

What do you dislike about tawk.to?

I dislike the ringing sound that Tawk uses when there’s a new chat. It sounds like an old phone.

What problems is tawk.to solving and how is that benefiting you?

It’s enabling us to be very responsive to customers so they can get quick answers to their questions.

What do you like best about tawk.to?

Lo que más me gustó de tawk.to es la sencillez de su diseño. Desde que accedes al panel de control, puedes ver gráficas de los visitantes que se conectaron en el día o también los chats contestados. Lo mejor de todo es que fue muy fácil instalarlo, ya que el software te genera automáticamente el código que debes insertar en el sitio web. Otra característica que me gustó de software es que le pudimos dar distintos usos para nuestros propósitos, ya que podemos brindar asistencia, vender productos o resolver inquietudes.

Desafortunadamente remover la marca y la etiqueta de tawk.to de la apariencia del chat es costoso.

What problems is tawk.to solving and how is that benefiting you?

Nos hemos beneficiado enormemente con este software, ya que podemos brindar asistencia a nuestros visitantes, así como también vender productos o resolver inquietudes. Por otro lado, con tawk.to podemos recopilar números de teléfono, correos electrónicos o direcciones, que nos sirven para contactar a nuestros clientes en un futuro.

What do you like best about tawk.to?

The chat strengthens our customer service since it provides features to interact with website visitors and handle inquiries proactively. It allows customization and makes communication more efficient thanks to automatic responses. It helps us provide professional customer support.

What do you dislike about tawk.to?

Tawk.to could insert more customization features. But in general, it provides a very efficient service.

Live chat allows us to interact with our customers in a timely manner. Autoresponders are great to keep active service on the website. It helps us capture more potential customers.

I like that i can talk to customers live, i can see who is on visiting our site, and where they are from.

What do you dislike about tawk.to?

I dislike that tawk.to doesn't pop up on our site unless i am physically logged in. I believe people would ask more questions if it did.

That it's easy to reach out to people live on our site IF i am logged in.

What do you like best about tawk.to?

The best thing I like about tawk.to is its user-friendly interface in desktop. The availability of knowledge base also helps a lot while using it. It can be used for quick responses to many of the frequently asked questions.

What do you dislike about tawk.to?

The mobile app for tawk.to doesn't have a user-friendly interface. It also fails to give notifications at some time due to some bugs. I was finding it confusing to tweak with certain admin panel settings in mobile app. Also, I feel like some of the options like availability to go offline, invisible, etc are kind of confusing at some point in time

What problems is tawk.to solving and how is that benefiting you?

One-click solution for the prospects using the chat window at every webpage. Also, when somebody is trying to interact, we are able to get their details for further follow-ups. Since the details about the user are shown based on their IP address, we are able to get a clearer idea of the geography and demographics of the user.

Tawk.to has let me monitor visitors to my site and communicate with them in real time, or have an automated chat message that helps me capture visitors contact info.

What do you dislike about tawk.to?

I would love some AI that lets the chat automatically answer some of the most common questions visitors had, or sets up a kind of survey for them.

Capturing info from visitors to my site and converting them to paying customers.

"Good for engagement and seeing visitors... but the notifications can be annoying. Team are very good"
What do you like best about tawk.to?

Their support is excellent and engage well. You can see a visitor's IP address so you have an idea where they come from and their history.

What do you dislike about tawk.to?

If you are inactive for a number of minutes (about 10) it will send a ring-ring to check you are online. Which, if you sit at your desk all day just doing other work with it on in the background, can be quite annoying. If they had a desktop app like eg dropbox has a toolbar extension, it would know you are online and could just refresh the update for you. Also if you are offline it displays as "offline" rather than just hiding altogether. But maybe that's me not putting the code in properly.

What problems is tawk.to solving and how is that benefiting you?

Visitor engagement, online chat is a lower barrier to entry than a visitor emailing/phoning. But most people don't reply to a proactive message.

I like how it notifies you immediately when someone has logged on, and shows you what people are typing before they send it.

What do you dislike about tawk.to?

The reports can be difficult to follow at times, but other than that tawk.to is very user friendly for both parties involved.

What problems is tawk.to solving and how is that benefiting you?

We use tawk.to to reach out to residents once they enter our website. We are able to ask if they have any questions and get their contact info if they are looking to lease for us. Benefits of using this program are an increase is prospective residents.

"Great free product, but may be going obsolete due to Messenger"
What do you like best about tawk.to?

It is free and easy to set up on Wordpress. It comes with a Wordpress plugin and you can even chat directly on your smartphone with their app. You can easily customize colors and text. You can also see which pages the visitor navigates to in real time.

What do you dislike about tawk.to?

Their backend dashboard is not very user-friendly. Just a few things that make it difficult, but a few extra minutes to figure it out is worth the price. With the free version, you must have their branding on the bottom.

What problems is tawk.to solving and how is that benefiting you?

Before Messenger created a way to chat with website users, I could find nothing that worked with my phone. I really wanted a service that integrated with my phone. This lets me know when a visitor arrives and I can chat with them anytime.

It isn't just a "live chat" tool. It can help elevate your entire customer support and helps you say in touch with your customers, even on the go.

What do you dislike about tawk.to?

The functionality is a bit complex and ironically, their support is not very efficient.

What problems is tawk.to solving and how is that benefiting you?

Tawk.to helps in effective customer service. I am able to manage all customer queries and complaints and also offer real-time support to them.

Ability to add shortcut messages to quickly communicate with customers. Like the wide variety of emojis that are available. Ability to see what pages customer have been to and to see what they are typing in order to anticipate answers.

Customers complain about the chat bubble on their mobile devices

Communicating with customers visiting the website. Serving our customers better at the point of sale to convert a larger potion of sales.

"As a chat software, fantastic, as a helpdesk, not so good"
What do you like best about tawk.to?

I loved that it was for free and I loved the chat features.

What do you dislike about tawk.to?

I repeatedly asked for help as my clients complained they did not get mails from the helpdesk system. I repeatedly complained to Tawk.to and they did nothing to solve it. They tried blaming it on me, but whenever I used my own mail to reply to customers all was fine. It was only in their helpdesk tidket system that mails were too frequently not recieved by my clients, which actually, caused me quite much damage.

What problems is tawk.to solving and how is that benefiting you?

In the end - I had to stop using it due to the problems as it was not reliable. Otherwise - if you want them only as a chat then they are fantastic.
