I like the user-friendliness and variability in the software. I've used WordPress a few different times and offered other people to use it as well. I really enjoyed the interface of the pages and the tools are really helpful.

I wish there were a bit more tools to change the layout but overall there wasn't much to dislike overall.

I wasn't really using it for business, more for personal use except for some events or collegiate clubs when I was in undergrad.

I liked being able to export and download the files directly from WP.

The layout of the west was a bit confusing in some ways.

It is easy to export the WP data into excel, which was useful for my particular job.

Lo mejor del sistema wordpress, es su comportamiento en la red, es estable, muy intuitivo, los dominios corren rápidos y ya que el equipo wordpres lo mantiene actualizado nunca hay conflictos en plugins o templates que puedan derivar en caídas o fallos en la ejecución del cms.

Existen pocos fallos en wordpress, aunque si podría señalar que faltan plugins y templates de mas calidad, al ser un sistema mixto en donde convive el proyecto gratuito de wordpress y la versión de pago faltaría diferenciarse un poco mas de la plataforma gratuita en el .org

Creo sitios de manera rápida, los cuales pueden ser muy utilices para lanzar webs o blogs que no necesiten mucho mantenimiento técnico por mi parte, dedicando la mayoría del tiempo en crear contenidos.

I like the help and support I have had so far with WordPress. I haven’t been using it long but with all the support emails I receive on how to this or that and tips on how to improve it has been a big help.

When I was first setting up my account I hit a few snags.

WordPress is actively maintaining a strong lead in the website platform. More than just a blog most websites are nowhere being built using WordPress.

Security can be a problem if your site is not actively being updated and key steps to maintain security are not in place.

Its popularity, it is really well known and when I ask someone to write a report about an issue, I want them to do it through Wordpress.

Some features are a bit difficult to find. For example, when you have to look for the types of letters, some of the employees find it difficult to find the options.

Community: To have a useful support, there must be a large community of users, who will be a part of e.g. a discussion board. Plugins: The script has over dozen thousand of plugins available on its website. They are the reason WordPress is considered a CMS, not only a blogging script. Strong majority of the plugins is available for free. Templates: On the scritp's homepage you can view thousands of graphics templates, that can change your website's look. You can find there both free and paid templates. The paid ones are often more advanced as well as more interesting. Menu management: WordPress menu management has extended functionalities, that can be modified to include categories, pages, etc. Non-standard fields: You can easily add fields to forms by yourself or using plugins. It will allow your blog or subpages to have additional labels, categories or descriptions.

Modification requires knowledge of PHP: Operations like removing a date field requires some understanding of PHP language. It is the case for most of such modifications. Graphics modification requires knowledge of CSS and HTML: Although there are plenty templates available on the homepage, most of them are very alike. To create a unique look, you need to know CSS and HTML. Plugins and efficiency: To compete with Joomla! or Drupal, WordPress needs plenty of plugins to be installed. Unfortunately these plugins influence the script's efficiency and not in a good way. Another problem arises when you need to choose a plugin for a specific functionality. Among all the thousands of plugins, most of them have their clones. It means, that any given functionality can be added by several different plugins created by different authors. Sometimes choosing the right one may take quite some time. PHP security: The script is not protected as well as other applications. It all depends on how sesitive is the additional content of your page. Tables and graphics formatting: Modifying tables or graphics format can be more complicated than in other applications like Quick.Cms or Joomla. SQL queries: Queries can be complex since all additional non-standard fields that make WordPress a CMS, require additional syntax.

No more waiting for your web designer to make simple updates to your site. With WordPress, you have control of nearly every aspect of your site and can easily make those simple updates yourself.

I like that I can grow my blog as I need to and Wordpress has excellent support.

It can be clunky to use, and sometimes the technical information overshadows the blogging.

I use it to deliver content to people interested in my writings.

I enjoy the ease to complete a website. I like the plugins and how they improve your website, must like apps on your phones.

The themes are a bit confusing to use. And sometimes it's difficult to change things from the original design.

I use this product at my current position.

I like the post categorization features. We use WordPress to maintain a blog within our website, and it is easy to add new pages and categorize them accordingly.

I wish there was a guide on which HTML the site requires. I do not know a lot of HTML, and it has been difficult for me to figure out which HTML language works best in WordPress. It would be really nice if there was a quick guide within the website.

The plug ins make it extremely easy to create, expand, and manage your own website without knowing too much front end or back end development

I like that I can create one update and that it is shared with multiple audiences.

I dislike that it is difficult for the recipient of the blog to subscribe on the blog.

It allows me to tell our story in a meaningful and simple way.

Easy navigation and great functions for building sites faster. There is good menu style options which are easier to use.

UI can be improved. It can be made more intuitive. I dont have anything big as dislikes, It needs to be tested out.

I like that you can integrate almost anything into the program and that it does all the programming work for you

I don't like how their site preview tool works

It makes blog postings and content updates easy. It is also fairly easy to add pixels and coding

Este gestor de contenidos es sencillo de utilizar para personas que no entendiendan tanto de código. Es muy visual e intuitivo y además en internet hay mucha información de como hacer todas las cosas. Para personas que tengan más nivel, pueden coger una plantilla y adaptar el código según a lo que necesites, ya que podrás tocar cualquier parte del código sin ningún problema.

Lo que me gusta menos, es que se debería de revisar mejor los plugins que se suben al repositorio. Algunos dejan mucho que desear y no hacen de forma correcta su función. Por otro lado, el tema de los enlaces permanentes. En el momento que se cambia una entrada de categoría, el enlace que teníamos anteriormente dejaría de funcionar. No ocurre lo mismo en Joomla

Varias webs de clientes nuestros. Para el cliente final es más fácil estos gestores de contenidos que otros.
