AppMySite Pricing Overview

The App's are ok, slower than I'd like, but some of the slowness is from WordPress not just appmysite. They could do some more caching of data to speed some things up more, but I'm just guessing on that.

They took ideas from people who purchased lifetime deals, and now they want to charge us more for those features vs include them in the product for us who funded their ability to create the product as it is. I could understand if the ideas were things that actually cost money to make available to us, like if there were incurring an actual cost... Like Right-to-left Support, why are you charging extra for that feature? It costs nothing once it is implemented.

It made it possible for me to get my website on the appstore quickly vs having to make my own app. I've actually started working on my own app since appmysite is to limited, and charges for extra features that should not be an extra chrarge.

I purchased AppMySite because I run a small singing group as a side business during the holidays. I needed something that would be easy to run from my mobile phone because I'm mostly traveling around town during the busy season. We do have a Wordpress website, but by turning it into an app we can expand the services we offer. For example, we can push reminders to the client's phone for what they need to have ready for us and help them feel confident by following up with confirmations and status reports. It makes it easier for them to send us notes, song requests, etc. We think this makes them more engaged with the process. We can also ask clients for feedback within the app and send little reminders. This year we are going to experiment with having a QR code on our songbooks so that people watching us can scan it to install our app while they are actually at the performance so hopefully that will result in more bookings! We hope this will make us look a bit more professional and "cool" that we have our own app. Okay, so it's kind of a vanity thing. :-)

Of course, the disadvantage is this is not as flexible or customizable as a native app built from scratch. You have to understand that this is basically just an app version of your Wordpress website. But for newbies (like me) and people who are not prepared to pay for an app developer or have simple needs for an app, this really does the trick.

This solves the problem of expecting a potential client to go home and remember to look us up on our website later (which they seldom remember to do anyway). An app is more immediate and a client can request a booking, reschedule a date, ask a question, give feedback, or even get a discount for booking on the app.

I have tried several other app services, and they all have been challenging to use and have costly monthly fees. Appmysite has been easy to work with, and their pricing is much more affordable.

Some features require additional monthly fees, but you can still get by just fine without them. Not a deal breaker at all. The options available can be overwhelming at first glance, so be prepared to invest some time to set up everything and get it just right.

Niente è perfetto e c'è sempre spazio per migliorare. Uso Appmysite da alcuni mesi e non ho riscontrato alcun problema in tal senso. Vorrei che lavorassero di più sull'interfaccia UX, creando un design migliore. Aumenterei le integrazioni e inserirei la possibilità di gestire al meglio la community. Al momento per il mio utilizzo è fantastico!
