"Box to store, Box to share and Box to collab"
What do you like best about Box?

Box is like my next best tool for productivity. It is similar to Google drive which I regularly use but yet different. It has all the features which typical cloud services have mainly storing and sharing. But Box is better, it has participation and collaboration features like creating task for each person and sending them, commenting on a submitted file to give feedback. I like these features of Box as it makes my work of managing team and giving them task easy.

What do you dislike about Box?

When it comes to pricing I find that Box is little bit pricey as compared to others. And other than price sometimes when I try to share a file the upload speed to the server is slow.

What problems is Box solving and how is that benefiting you?

Box has plenty of features and I like collaborative features the most as I said above. It certainly makes giving tasks easy to my team members and managing those. I find it definitely problem solving and time saving.

What do you like best about Box?

Box has provided the scalable storage solution our company needed at a competitive price. Based on our growth plans, we are confident we made a good decision to use this service.

What do you dislike about Box?

Who doesn't wish the price for everything was a little lower. Still, we feel we're getting a great value overall.

"Poor Customer Service - predatory billing practices"
What do you like best about Box?

Basic file storage and sync. Basic file storage and sync. Basic file storage and sync. Basic file storage and sync. Basic file storage and sync.

What do you dislike about Box?

1. Can't sync different select folders to different PCs under same account 2. Box has smallest max file size of the major players. Max file size is 5GB. Even OneDrive is 10GB. Google Drive is 5TB, and DropBox is unlimited! 3. Box makes it very difficult to cancel their service. I had already deleted all of my data off of Box. I could not find anywhere how to cancel it, so I sent an email requesting cancellation to the only email address from which I'd received a response: [email protected]. Days later, they charged my credit card anyway for monthly fee. They refused to refund that charge because of a technicality - I hadn't sent my request to [email protected]. Even though they could see that I had made a request prior to billing date and I was not using their service, they still charged me.

What problems is Box solving and how is that benefiting you?

Data backup and ubiquitous access.

"Secure storage of my important documents"
What do you like best about Box?

What I love about Box is its large storage capacitym it is simple to connect it to the cloud of my work system and have a secure backup of every document I want to store. It offers the great capacity, only from its platform, to create a collaborative work network with my work team, simply grannting permits to the people I want to enter, we can share and exchange information in collaboration, as simple as that. It is a fairly practical tool, it does not take up much space on my computer and the synchronization system is the best it has without a doubt. I don't need to copy the documents to all the devices I have, just by logging in I have all my files where I need them.

What do you dislike about Box?

It is practical tool, with multiple features that make it stand out among the best storage platforms. It is simple to use, it does not have so many complications to understand its great utility, Its cost is completely adapted to my use, it provides just the necessary tools in relation to cost-price. It is important to highlight customer support, is always aware of any questions that may arise at the right time, providing immediate solutions for any inconvenience. Maybe the heavier files may take longer than necessary to load, however, it is my only complain, it is a problem that I can handle.

What problems is Box solving and how is that benefiting you?

With the implementation of Box we have achieved great objectives, its benefits have been diverse. We improve the exchange of documents and collaborative work, we store all our important documents wasily, quickly and safely. The best of all this is has completely adapted to our work rhythm, with an efficient system, to the order of the day, without presenting any type of error, exponentially increasing the opportunity to carry out a fluid, collaborative and safe work. It is all we need in our company to achieve efficiency in every job we do.

"Cost effective and secure cloud storage"
What do you like best about Box?

In a very simple and pratical way this software has the ability to store all types of files including compressed files, .psd, documents, images, audios, etc. With the ease of the classic drag and drop on the desktop version. It also has the capacity to be able to share files through links or selecting the appropriate work team to which you wish to allow to see and/or manipulate said allowed file, thus having a better management when handling large projects and distributing documents to specific people when working collaboratively. Box is somehow compact, without having such an extensive and complicated interface that it confuses the user, but it makes you feel that least effort is required to learn how to use this software.

What do you dislike about Box?

I do not find any negative aspect of this software because despite its simplicity, it can easily compete with other cloud stores because with its prices that adapt to any of company it meets the standards to obtain a good benefit to a reasonable cost and they also comply with what they offer.

What problems is Box solving and how is that benefiting you?

It is particulary useful whrn you need to manage all important files in one place without loss and saving time when managing a project or when you need to store something quickly and get it in the same way at any time and any place. It drastically reduces the pussiblity of making mistakes when making an amendment to an important document when keeping said document of an ongoing project up to date, since box allows us to see the modifications that have been made and which user performed said action. There is no doubt that collaboratively Box is the one indicated by its appropriate administration tools that it has to make a good management of files in the cloud for a work team.

"BOX gets the job done, but is a huge animal to deal with if it doesn't meet your needs"
What do you like best about Box?

BOX allows us to store files on a cloud server, with easy, instant access worldwide, including support on mobile devices and desktop access. Our business account has infinite storage, so there is no worry about running out or upgrading space. The interface is easy to understand, and most users adapt very quickly.

What do you dislike about Box?

Box has waterfall permissions for files, which you should be sure that you understand before signing up. You cannot restrict files within a folder that someone can access at a higher level. Waterfall permissions can make file organization a bit tricky. Also, ad-ons to BOX are very pricey. BOX advertises all this awesome stuff you can do, but you don't realize that a lot of it is costly add-on until later. Once you activate the ad-on, there is no trial period. You are stuck paying for it for a year, even if the ad-on doesn't work for you. Finally, I feel like BOX caters to huge organizations more than small businesses.

What problems is Box solving and how is that benefiting you?

We used to have an FTP server which you could only upload and download things, not manipulate files. It was a time-sucker. Once we expanded clients, it wasn't too usable. All the rest of the company files were stored on a local server, and remote desktop access could only be used by one person at a time and would always go down. It was a mess! BOX changed everything, with instant access 24/7 to all the files, no matter who needs it. I can also access everything on the go, which is crucial, I'm not tied to a home desktop system. BOX can also update you when someone comments or uploads things, so you get a lot of oversight about what is happening with your files (if you can keep up with it!) BOX is pretty versatile, and with the function, I don't have any complaints. I just wish we knew more about how it worked before going "all in." ONce you are "all in," getting out is a big leap.

"Access your data securely from whatever device you are on from any place."
What do you like best about Box?

I like having access to my data from any place and any device. I no longer have to rely on remote connections or VPNs to my office network. It works well for our office for effective communication when sending and receiving documents from our clients. I am not certain about comparisons to other products as I have been a box used for several years now. They offer the most features and abilities for a competitive price. Hopefully, it remains this way. I have recommended it to a lot of my clients for personal storage as well.

What do you dislike about Box?

I use Adobe Acrobat for e-signatures. Box released its e-Signature capture feature I was super excited about. They have been improving it over time, but for now, I feel that Acrobat Sign has more features I am used to at this time. I do currently use it internally for signatures.

What problems is Box solving and how is that benefiting you?

They created a workspace environment where I can get feedback/comments on documents and opinions from other co-workers without having to email a document back and forth. I can securely send documents to co-workers and clients outside using links/passwords to the same document. It also tracks versions and due to the link sharing vs emailing a document, there is no confusion about which version of a document we are viewing.

What do you dislike about Box?

While Box offers numerous benefits, there are also some potential limitations or demerits to consider: 1. The pricing structure is based on user licenses and storage capacity, so the costs can increase as your user base or storage requirements grow. 2. Internet Dependency: Box is a cloud-based solution, which means it requires an internet connection to access and synchronize files. If you have limited or unreliable internet connectivity, it may hinder your ability to work with Box folders effectively. 3. It may take time for users to become familiar with the interface, features, and best practices. 4. Integration Limitations: Although Box offers integrations with various third-party applications, there might be instances where specific integrations or functionalities are limited or not available. It's essential to check the compatibility and integration options for the specific tools you rely on to ensure they work seamlessly with Box. 5. Storage Limitations: Depending on your subscription plan, there might be storage limitations imposed by Box. If you reach the storage limit, you may need to upgrade your plan or delete older files to make room for new ones. 6. Dependency on Internet Service Provider: The performance and accessibility of Box folders can be affected by the quality and reliability of your internet service provider. If you experience frequent outages or slow internet speeds, it can impact your ability to work with Box effectively. 7. Data Security Concerns: While Box is designed with robust security measures, some individuals or organizations may have specific data security requirements or concerns. If you handle highly sensitive or regulated data, it is crucial to thoroughly review Box's security features and compliance certifications to ensure they meet your specific needs. 8. Limited Offline Functionality: While Box does offer mobile applications and offline syncing, the offline functionality is not as extensive as working with files online. Some features, such as real-time collaboration or access to the latest file versions, may be limited or unavailable when working offline. It's important to consider these demerits in the context of your specific requirements and preferences when evaluating Box as a file storage and collaboration solution.
