I like that it is integrated with emails, social media LinkedIn and the user interface is easy to understand. You can add a job from specific emails and attach documents, candidates to certain jobs, which, is viewable by other members of the organization.
The pricing is a little steep. Also, there are some functions that we do not use which I hope can be removed so that the price per month would be reduced.

I really enjoy that through me making placements, Bullhorn can connect to Sense and send out automated messages for first day checks, end of week checks, etc. so that I can stay connected to my employees and find out when they are having issues as well.
Sometimes, I have had issues with Sense sending out messages to employees after I have ended the assignment for them. Also, the broadcast messages that Pridestaff sends out can come out at the wrong time sometimes for employees that I am working with.
Bullhorn Integration and tracking helps me keep track of employees and stay up to date with issues that they are having, as well as making sure that they are happy in their assignment. It makes it to where the employees also feel valued which I like to see.
The software is attractive, the search functions are Boolean searchable, there are dashboards if you can talk your support rep into getting them to work accurately (we can't)
The service: our sales admin spends 1-3 hours a week on the phone with Bullhorn, trying to get glitches fixed and figure out what activities like client visits, interviews, etc are not showing in reports. This is not a one time thing, this is a every 1-3 days type of thing. Today, she was on a call with the Bullhorn team for over an hour. We've learned, when it's not fixed and they say they'll call us back, they won't. Our conversion: We converted from SendOuts, yet we found out today that we have over 80,000 records that were not mapped and are just in limbo. Training: Not sure how well the paid training works, we've had such a terrible time just getting their software to function properly, we've been very hesitant to buy anything else from them. The training videos cover areas you would likely figure out on your own and there is no comprehensive user manual. If you have a question with Bullhorn, you can Google it or spend an hour trying to get Support on the phone. Reporting: We switched to get access to the much touted dashboards, which 8 months after conversion still do not work. We have had to purchase an additional software to sit on top of Bullhorn and provide comprehensive dashboards, management reporting and sales conversion ratios. When we asked Bullhorn what it would take to create a sales conversion ratio report, this CRM company a.) did not know what we were talking about & b.) wanted to charge us many thousands of dollars to build it, even though they didn't understand what we meant. I don't understand a sales software that can't give the sales people their conversion ratios.
Our business problems have grown with Bullhorn. We regret switching over and now have to pay a higher price for a lower quality product then we were previously using (I miss you, SendOuts!) and pay for an additional software just to get the functions were were promised. Bullhorn is slow and freezes up regularly. Reports are missing data almost every week. This is the third software we've used in the last 5 years and it won't be the last.

The reporting tools are rigid. If you want any customization for your reporting it's going to cost you design and hosting fees on top of your Bullhorn licenses.

It is incredibly versatile. It seems to be the go-to ATS/CRM for staffing purposes. I am not in the 'knowing' for the billing, however, I am guessing it is a cost-affordable option.
It can be very buggy. To incorporate this into your company, it is best to have a good I.T. person and then someone who can train all individuals on this otherwise, your data will not have the integrity to it.

I like the interface and the ease of use from going from one record to another or one type or record to another type. This is the biggest one for me. It looks great and they’ve done a good job with this in my opinion.
I dislike how it feels so clunky sometimes. I really feel they could have made the system work even better and even quicker. The time it takes to open multiple tabs and how there is a “Close all tabs” button near the bottom really annoys me!
Sometimes our issue is opening multiple client and candidate records at the same time and being able to track the specific CV submissions. By using Bullhorn we are able to track them explicitly and follow the journey from prescreen to client submission and to hopefully a placement.
