It's super convenient to not need to create an entity in each country and to pay all employees and contractors in one spot. The new HRIS for free also is nice, and makes sense to give away for free for small businesses.
Deel is very expensive. At first it seems like pricing is simple - one monthly fee for EOR services but then additional charges add up. $5 per payment, visa sponsorship fees if you want sponsorship, excessive visa renewal fees, and best of all - a $1250 fee to end the visa. Deel loves to brag in their fundraising announcement of their 85% margin and it's clear how they get it - with these excess fees.
Hiring employees and contractors in countries where we don't have an entity and don't want to create an entity. It's also convenient to pay once for everyone, regardless of where they are.

I love that it is possible for me to receive my monthly payments without paying any comissions to withdraw my money. All the local banks in my country charge a fee to receive funds from platforms like paypal, so before deel I always had to pay for really big comissions.
I haven't used deel for that long, but I haven't disliked anything so far.
It's helping receive my payments automaically which saves me so much time and helps me have my money available faster, and it's also helping me save money because I can withdraw my money to my bank account directly so I don't have to pay extra fees or charges to my local bank.

While Deel offers many benefits for managing global payroll and compliance, there are a few potential disadvantages to consider: Costs: Deel's services come at a price, and depending on the size of your team or business, the subscription fees might impact your budget. Complexity for Small Teams: If you have a very small team or limited international operations, the features and capabilities of Deel might feel overwhelming or unnecessary. Integration Challenges: Integrating Deel with existing payroll or HR systems could require additional effort, especially if your current systems are not easily compatible. Learning Curve: Despite its user-friendly interface, there might still be a learning curve for new users to fully grasp all the functionalities and settings within the platform. Support Limitations: While Deel provides customer support, the level of assistance might vary, and timely resolution of issues could be a concern. Regulatory Variations: While Deel helps with compliance, the ever-changing nature of international regulations and laws could still pose challenges that require your team's attention.
Deel addresses the complexities and challenges of managing a diverse and international workforce, allowing businesses to focus on growth and productivity while leaving the administrative burden to the platform.
Deel's platform is easy to use and navigate, making it accessible to independent contractors of all tech-skill levels. It also allows independent contractors like me to receive payments quickly and easily, regardless of my location. This helps me improve my cash flow and manage my finances more effectively.
Deel charges various fees for its services, including a platform fee, payment processing fees, and currency conversion fees. These fees can be significant, especially for contractors with small projects.
Deel is solving my late payments issues. Deel handles my invoices and payments, ensuring that I receive my money on time and efficiently.
It is very easy to get started with Deel. When I was doing my research on the best payroll service to use, Deel consistently came on top. It was very easy to sign up, set up the account, and process the payroll. The good thing was the ability to keep the money in Deel for a specific period of time before transferring. I also liked the fact that I was able to use multiple transfer options to withdraw my money.
The only thing that I was concerned about was the high cost of using this platform. There was a cost of $49 per contractor per payment which honestly feels like a lot. If Deel can somehow make it's pricing more competitive, I would happily become an ambassador.
My organization's basic need was to find a way to efficiently pay people based out of the US. I was able to use Deel to make payments in the Middle East, South Asia, and Europe. This helped me streamline multicountry payroll with ease and convenience.
Tyler - he is great and answering questions, providing feedback and ensuring that we have everything needed at our fingertips.
The cost! For a small org like ours the cost is simply too expensive.
Paying our international customs, expense reimbursement and dealing with all of the EOR information
Deel helped us comply with Germany employment standards for independent contracts that we work with in that market.
Between the employment costs and the Deel platform fee, it feels like a lot of added costs on top of the monthly salary.
As mentioned above, Deel helped up to retain our German contracts by helping them comply with local employment regulations.
