It has been a user friendly platform, and speakers like it.
How could I possible recommend a company that decides the annual renewal is going to change to a different subscription model, and tells me not a month before the renewal is up, when I have more than 25 events scheduled and having been promoting? Then, when I asked to extend my current contract by 6 months to give me time to analyze this, they refused. They said the minimum renewal is 12 months. I was forced to renew with them for 12 months because I could not afford to lose those 25 events I had already scheduled and promoted that run through September. What company does this kind of thing? How did they notify me? An email that said "your current offer is about to expire." We've been a customer for 3 years. I had to email multiple times to find out what that sentence meant. Their new pricing model charges per "active contact" - which means they charge for registrants, not just attendees. I had to purchase additional active contacts in a package of 1,500 contacts for $1,875. That is $1.25 per new registrant for our webinars. Other webinar platforms that charge for contacts charge for actual attendees, not registrants, and they charge 12.5 CENTS per attendee. Livestorm charges 10 times more than what other companies charge, PLUS they charge for registrants not attendees. At the rate they I have had to purchase additional contacts, Livestorm is turning out to be more expensive than On24 (which is the gold standard for a webinar platform). And Livestorm is nowhere near as sophicated as On24. Livestorm is a terrible compay, terrible customer service. I don't know who the genius there is that decided to rip everyone off with this new pricing model -- but my message to that person is that you are going to lose customers.
At the time it allowed me to easily create webinars and virtual info sessions and create the landing pages, automatic emails, etc. But right now, it is causing more problems than it is worth because of their rudeness at changing the fee when I have too many events scheduled to be able to move to a different platform.
Livestorm is really easy to use. We built a quick landing page and send traffic to that page so they can sign-up for the webinar. It has made it really easy for us to host weekly product webinars! We also like how we are able to see who has attended our webinars. With that list, our sales team is able to reach out to them directly to increase the chance of closing the sale. The live chat inside the livestorm webinars is key for engaging with the people that are attending our webinar. Not only that, we also add polls and different ways for them to interact with us. We have been getting good feedback from our attendees.
I wish it was a little bit more price-friendly or easier to switch the admins. Business is dynamic and sometimes you need someone else to host the webinar. We had an issue where we were going to be charged for another user, but we just needed it for that one time. There are no other issues that we have had with the platform as it has been rock solid!
We are trying to solve product webinars to educate our customers on the value of our Product. It has made it really easy for us to host weekly webinars now so we love it. We also started to do webinars in specific verticals. So now our sales team is able to be laser-focused on creating webinars that provide the best value to our customers.

team's proactivity in supporting us and our end-users in every possible way - prompt response to questions, additional resources & practical recommendations, honest feedback and partner-like approach (not desperate on making quick money in a transactional manner or at any cost) we are not (at all!) technical people, so we've very much appreciated the support during the two weeks of implementation and testing of the platform (including the fact that they agreed to offer us an extension of the test period)
accessibility limitations due to security issues of our corporate clients (firewall not allowing connectivity) and due to mandatory request to use Chrome (some of our corporate users are not allowed to install it) we needed to create a step-by-step infographic our end-users should use in order to check & potentially by-pass the connectivity issue - so it would have been nice to find these things out from the beginning / find such an aid in the FAQ section
enhancing our face-to-face training & coaching business offer with webinars and group coaching options / add-ons we've managed to acquire new, more profitable business using this very cost-effective platform that actually feels like an internal team of experts
Modern and simple UI with the ability to send 2,000 email invitations in bulk. Overall, decent tool.
The video quality on the live experience isn't great when you have multiple speakers from different countries. The main concern is their communication to upsell us to include a simple SF integration - This has been terrible. Aside from it being a significant price hike, we were also told we had to pay extra for their new MAC (Monthly Active Contacts) pricing model - definitely have to watch out for this as prices can get expensive, VERY quickly. We were also told mixed information over a pricing call vs email, only to be told there were mistakes in the pricing offered over email. Very disappointed with how that was handled.
Running simulated webinars with ease. Def. have to watch out for the video quality if running them live.
I enjoyed how simple the platform was to use. As someone that only has experience hosting a webinar via Zoom, this was a good alternative and was very simple with a good quality feed. I also liked how each participant was highlighted via their current employer or industry they work in.
As I was the moderator of the webinar, I had to keep an eye on various features such as participants asking questions, viewing each user, and monitoring internal chat between the hosts. I found the two different chats were a bit clunky to operate between.
Livestorm is a good alternative to zoom. Using a free zoom account costs membership fees and it was great to use Livestorm for less/free. In that case, it saved us money.
Have used the application for over 2 years. Livestorm is a great webinar tool if you want simple branding customization, viewer analytics, easy registration management, and automatic mail reminders. The support team always readily helped solve technical issues.
The pricing policy is based on the amount of hosts. I was completely appalled by customer service when we faced the simple issue of needing to switch host due to the resignation of our colleague. We were offered to either add another host, and pay double or wait until subscription renewal, wait a couple of days and change host, but still be charged a small fee. I informed them that I would not renew their subscription under such terms. However the service is so inflexible that they are willing to lose a customer over such a small issue. It's 2023 guys; come on.
