I literally signed up for the free period of the top ten emails services and was a regular user of MailChimp. For the money, hands down, the best service.
For my purposes, I cannot find a single thing I don't like in the entire process from design to dissemination.
I needed a platform to reduce the number of unconfirmed subscribers. We have managed to do with MailerLite.
Customer service is prompt and helpful. Open rates are up with other wellknown email platforms
Breaking down reporting at a group level should be on a wish list.
able to send high quality email campaigns with maintaining open rates and excellent fast customer service
Mailer Lite is so easy to use and has great, personable customer support and the pricing can't be beat for what you get. I've tried almost all others (the well known ones), and it's not that they weren't "good"... they also had good support... it's just those just weren't intuitive enough for me to do what I needed to do quickly and had a big learning curve (for me anyway). Simply, ML it does exactly what I need it to do when I need to do it at about 1/3 of the cost of most services. It's just a "cute" interface!
I can't even think of anything I dislike! (which is rare haha)
When I have to send marketing/batch emails, I just want to get in and get out and send a nice looking email without friction (learning MORE stuff about email is not how I like to use my time lol... then I'd just be worried if I did it "right" with other services). I was shocked at how easy ML was to use right away, and now I'm actually motivated to stay consistent with my newsletter (before it felt like a daunting chore to procrastinate about, and this just feels easy). I'm actually genuinely motivated to go in and use the service and not overwhelmed by it. That was an unexpected bonus! Happy to recommend it to anyone, because it's been such a game-changer for me in a short amount of time.
I'm super impressed with the detail, speed, clarity, and level of customization I received in response to my emailed question to customer service.
There hasn't been anything at all that I've disliked.
I don't particularly enjoy the tech responsibilities I have running my own small business. But, with Mailerlite, I've found it easy to set up my email automation and get help if I need it.
They have very efficient customers service, it is a very simple to use product and it links easily with Shopify
I haven't asked about it, but it doesn't appear to link to SM. Maybe that is just my plan though, it is a way cheaper plan than our previous provider
The only problem I had was during the sign up we had to send batches of emails to check we were a real company and somehow created two accounts at this point. Whilst setting up and fixing the error customer service was amazing. Really great
Mailerlite has everything a small-to-medium-sized business would need to get started with an email newsletter and/or email marketing automation. The free option for new (and small) businesses is perfect to get started and prove out the value of email marketing for your business. Further, the software is intuitive and easy to use, even for beginners.
The email content editor can be a little clunky and frustrating at times. There is a small learning curve to get your emails to look exactly how you want.
Mailerlite manages our entire email marketing program, from confirming and welcoming new subscribers to our weekly newsletter.
Mailerlite is easy to use, with plenty of tutorials and excellent customer support.
The free account offers limited features.
Deliverability of my emails has been greatly improved and creating landing pages and forms is a breeze. The MailerLite plugin for WordPress makes it easier to use and update on my website.
I like the easy to use CRM system. I have the flexibility to create automated campaigns, a landing page, pop up forms, websites, and more!
I dislike how my emails aren't showing up in people's inbox. They go to their promotions or spam folder. Majority of my emails aren't opened. There's not a high open rate. I'm not sure if that's because the emails aren't showing up in their inbox or what.
I have the convenience of sending emails to a batch of supporters versus sending an email one by one via gmail. I'm also able to have an additional website if I'm promoting a product or multiple products at once for my business.
MailerLite is extremely easy to use and has a lot of bells and whistles that other, more robust platforms seem to miss. It's easy to view insights to emails and surveys, create email groups, manage users, etc.
It's not a full-on CRM for larger organizations, but for the price and if you don't need a robust system, it's great.
We needed to communicate with a larger group of people than gmail would allow and wanted a way to send nice emails, allow people to opt in and out, and be able to create and collect survey results, all of which are incredibly easy to set up and use in MailerLite.
Mailerlite offers excellent features for email marketing at a price point that takes small businesses into consideration. Plans start at free for up to 1,000 subscribers. The best feature by far is the automation feature, which allows you to create a hands-off welcome experience for new subscribers.
The landing page creator can be glitchy at times. Not super functional, it could be more user-friendly.
By using Mailerlite I have been able to set up opt-in forms throughout my website that have increased my number of subscribers. I really see the benefits of the ability to embed forms and to track data to determine which forms/ freebies are performing best.
Excellent & responsive customer service! The service is very convenient and intuitive, but if you get stuck at any point or have any question, the customer service is simply delightful!
There are so far nothing we found negative. Great job!
Efficient campaign management, convenient dashboard and easy to read pricing, MailerLite is very helpful
Great, quick support. Easy to use tools.
Recently crashed a few times. I wish we could integrate it with a new service 'Planning Center' we are connecting with now.
We are emailing our community, keeping people updated. We are sending Zoom links and COVID procedures. Helpful.
The first Mail Marketing software that I found as 'easy to use' as it proclaims (I've tried a few) most of them disappointed at some point. It works the way my brain works, things are where I think they will be, for me it is truly intuitive and very easy to use. When I've wondered what happened to survey info, I found it already added just where it should be. I've rarely had to go to the video resources, when I have they are useful because the ones I've used have been current. The Support is great, not patronising and endlessly patient! Joseph in particular took screenshots complete with directional arrows so that I could do something myself after he had undone what he had done (in case it wasn't what I wanted) but added if I wanted him to redo it, just ask and he would do so. (Hope you followed that!) I will still try to avoid 'Support' since these guys have an unenviable job trying to understand issues and deal with 'Jo Public' who is often clueless (well, it turned out I was) but I won't be filled with dread now having asked a couple of daft questions (thinking the software won't be THAT good) only to find out it was. So glad I asked since that could save me a boat load of time. Had support been the usual 'face bothered' guys I would never have asked.
Their own plugin to install a sign-up form!! It sort-of worked initially so I was happy but then it stated it hadn't... tried a number of things without success, then gave in and contacted support.
Very easy to create newsletters with or without templates, straightforward campaigns etc. even with the free version. There are few if any restrictions so it really helps when you're starting to build a relationship with your audience. Even the paid version is very reasonable!
MailerLite helps to send personalized newsletters to my subscribers. I like best that good statistics of email campaigns are available.
MailerLite limits for the free version is not sufficient to test all functions.
MailerLite helps to store all emails of my subscribers in one place, add tags to personalize email campaigns and track behaviour. I am fond of A/B testing of emails - it is easy to test different approaches.
Good pricing, they're not scammy, they really do offer website subdomains where you can drag and drop to build a basic website, you can upgrade for $120 to place Stripe subscription plans and Stripe sell buttons on your account. $120 per year for a website is really competitive pricing. I think you can have more than one website too, but I've never done that, so I may be wrong. I like how there is a great free plugin for WordPress that allows you to embed the MailerLite forms onto your site. This makes things really easy. I was doing the Forminator plugin before, and I couldn't really connect them to an auto-responder well, but MailerLite is easy to understand and quickly setup.
Hmm, I wish the free plans had chat, but I understand that this is only for if you pay $120 per year at the least. MailChimp has more integrations with forms, like Forminator, but I found a great MailerLite form plugin recently so it doesn't really matter. MailerLite is my choice for an autoresponder, so I don't really have any dislikes for them. ;)
My problem was that I couldn't reach my clients via automatic emails when they perform an action. I am now able to reach them thanks to MailerLite's forms being embedded on my websites. The ability to have customers subscribe to newletters cannot be underestimated.
The interface is very intuitive to use. The feature I like the most is "Subscribers Segments" and its powerful filtering options. I had one issue only and the support team responded promptly.
When searching for a specific subscriber, the only searching criteria is his/her email address. It would be useful to search by name or telephone number as well.
Helps managing customer orders.
It is easy to use. Next, the flow of how to work with the program is clear and easy to understand - better than the competition
Nothing to dislike. If you really want to pick something, the forms for email sign up couyld look better. that is a minor because what matters is that they work. Yes, they work. Perhaps another point that could be improved - when I want to send a free gift to my new email subscribers, the process of attaching the ebook could be improved.
Mailer lite forms on my website works great to sign up new email subscribers - apparently there is more, I am looking forward to it.
It is really user friendly and easy to learn how use. Great that it comes with a selection of templates to use as a starting point or to get ideas from. As a tech start-up we have a very low budget for marketing, but MailerLite allows us to test out ideas and has a very professional finish. The automations are a great time saver to nurture leads.
I haven't tried any other systems, so don't have anything directly to compare it against. We don't as yet have a CRM, but use the subscribers list and notes functionality to keep a track on customers, it would be good to be able to add a bit more data to the subscribers list, noting if thy have purchased from you and what/when was purchased.
Allows me to regularly communicate and build a relationship with customers. Pop-ups allow us to showcase new feature content on our website. Landing pages allow us to test new social media advertising to gain new subscribers. I've also set up a landing page for our Instagram that has links to our website and other social media accounts.
it is very intuitive and easy to handle the templates
more templates will be great in order to facilitate the editors
Contact my clients directly and easy
The automation features are fantastic and time saving. I like the sliding scale for pricing. Especially while I am learning how to use the system and building my business, it's giving me flexibility. So far Mailerlite has opened up a whole new way of thinking about my business and how I deliver value to my customers. Hopefully it will help me to steadily grow.
I am still learning but so far nothing has been a major concern. The videos and faq have generally been enough to help me solve any queries I've had. And when they haven't I have had a reponse from a question within 24 hours, which was brilliant. So overall quite happy.
Reclaiming my time so that I can focus on designing and making jewellery but still letting me keep in touch with potential customers. It given me new insight into my customers a well.
