Printful's global logistics and diverse product range gives you the ability to reliably sell to every corner of the world with zero hassle.
Till now, Printful has made sure to meet all my demands. There is nothing I dislike about Printful.
Printful has delivered global fulfillment from multiple locations with reliable quality and streamlined experiences, this was a hurdle with other POD companies that were unsolved.
24/7 customer support team that is dedicated to resolving most issues and queries. The print quality and the options of products to choose from are some of the best out there.
The quality check process could be improved a little. Although quite rare, there have been occasions where the end product shouldn't have passed quality checks but still did. More branding options such as custom packaging, or hangtags would really put Printful at the forefront of the Print On Demand space too. All in all, I've been really satisfied with Printful and would highly recommend them.
Being a white label Print On Demand & dropshipping service, Printful takes care of your warehousing, production and fulfilment needs - and that really helps you focus on growing the business and saves time versus you personally doing the production and order fulfilment etc.
We like the ease of use, customer support when we need it, and our account manager. We have been able to grow effectively and scale efficiently using this service.
Sometimes QA/QC is lacking; however, they quickly resolve any print issues or quality concerns. The choice of products, especially concerning t-shirts, can sometimes be lacking. Still, we understand that they are maintaining and warehousing many SKUs across many warehouses, and it would be untenable to carry every product that a blank shirt manufacturer would carry.
The ability to print on demand without the need to sink a bunch of money into inventory. It is enabling us to divert money to where it needs to go to continue to scale.
Printful is an excellent web platform that will allow us to buy clothes designed by other people, also allows clothing designers to sell their products on the platform. This goes from flannels, to pants. The payment platform is very good, we have placed several orders for the company and we have been fascinated with the results and how well we are treated in the platform
the platform is very intuitive so I have not found faults. Although I have no complaints, I feel that the platform also has a lot of competitiveness in the market, like it is Amazon (although it has all the departments) I think the platform should implement gift card
At the business level, but my friends and I have been able to do commissions for the platform and get quality clothes and we like it
Their process for creating designs is very straightforward, but also can be very deep if that's what you need (down to complete custom branding items and shipping labels). Printful is a well-considered service and is certainly useful to small nonprofits like mine, which need a one-off printer since we don't manage inventory.
There have been a few hangups that required me to communicate with their print team directly, and that was a bit clunky and time-consuming. However, they did resolve the problem and made it right. Also, their embroidery digitization isn't that great just yet.
Don't need to stock inventory, can very quickly and easily offer a variety of custom products to our supporters without having to spend any money at all on purchasing materials.
Easy to integrate with any platform. Customer Support are good.
Multiple products uploaded on a single design are not available.
I want to push multiple products on a single design but in Printful I do it again and again. But I want to Upload my single designs on all the desired products etc... Single design should be published on T-Shirt, hoodies, Canvases and Mugs through single process.
Printful is easy to use and integrates with bigger platforms. Here are the best traits: - I love that the prices are transparent and easy to see, there is a large variety of products. - The process of creating your product is simple. Adding your art to the template and sizing it to get it right takes a few minutes but then you are set and can use it over and over again. - You can add multiple stores from each platform in one shop (for example I sell abstract art and have another shop that says graphic posters and totes) and I can manage those and my shopify store as well. - Printful integrates with a lot of different platforms, Squarespace, wix, etsy, weebly, etc... - Helpful customer service - Updates when shipping delays occur so you can inform your customers.
The one thing I don't like is once it integrates with Etsy you can accidentally delete your listings. I thought I was cleaning my listings out of Printful to start over fresh and I deleted over 50 Etsy listings with a lot of history. This was completely my fault but I wish there was a more of a warning.
The problem solved was wasted time. I can get everything I need from one place and the perks are great. You can customize everything so it doesn't feel like it's shipping from a random warehouse.
The ease of integration with Weebly/Square, the ease of merch creation, and the ability to produce small amounts of merch orders on demand rather than spend tons of money on a bulk amount to sit in a warehouse. We use Printful every week, and love the ability to sample order merch we like.
Slow processing, not enough customization options
Being able to produce our merch by the order instead of in bulk-- saves us so much money and time and allows us to offer our customers more options.
Definitely product quality, fast processing times, file-browser to access your files and DPI quality checking for prints. Well, can't pass the student promo as well. That is pretty nice touch to help people settle their first POD business
Connection to your marketplaces/stores sometimes gets downtime and disconnections, and you must connect them again to make automation work. Catalog interface in Orders tab is sometimes laggy but does the job.
Well, I benefit from saving time for going to the Printing shop, packaging it and shipping it. Instead they do all of that for a reasonable price.
As a nonprofit festival, we are always looking to expand our merchandise offerings where we can hopefully increase income to offset many of the costs we endure during our festival. Printful has a good amount of products available and their online interface makes it relatively easy to set up products and variants. Most everything is set as a "what you see is what you get" style and I appreciate that.
I had a few sync issues with my online store when I first got set up. There are also times where I felt products I set up did not get communicated or linked properly. Out of stocks have occurred and I wish the communication of these events was clearer. I also wish some of the product costs were not as high as they are. The cost of the products they are listing are more expensive than someone who could print locally.
In the world of COVID-19, we can have an online merchandise store and not worry about the overhead cost of pre-printing merchandise. Having the items on a print-to-order basis is so very helpful. It truly minimizes the risk to our organization. I just wish that we as a nonprofit could make a better income without us pricing the items too high for our patrons.
Printful has a clean interface on it's website, timely and helpful customer support, and the items are of high quality that arrive quickly.
They can be a bit pricey especially if you're ordering a high number of items for merch.
If you need higher quality, branded merch items quickly then Printful is a good solution. It's not ideal for well-planned out, higher volume orders of merchandise.
Wide variety of products to highlight my logo and promote my business.
Better quality products like this come at a higher price.
Other sites that sell customized merchandise are like Walmart. Printful is like an exclusive boutique.
Absolutely Love printful! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend to anybody wanting to explore the creative options that this service offer! great way to expand your brand and impeccable service! It is a Great app. Very easy to use. Fully integrated with Shopify. :) 5 stars for this application.
Just wish they have more product such as shoes, watches...
Just wish they have more product such as shoes, watches...
Printful lets you create a lot of products and test different designs without the risk of actually printing them. Being a Print-on-demand business, you only print what you sell, so you can have a large library of products in your store. They have a huge library of articles to help you get started.
We didn't make a lot of sales (not Printful's fault, obviously). We made a test with some products in our webstore, and sales were not as good as we thought they'd be. Since we were just doing a test (and our Printful products were not our priority), we stopped using it. However, Printful is a great company and every single one of our customers received a quality product on time. We may return to Printful in the future if needed.
Having more products in our store without the need to invest in wherehouses and production, minimizing the risk of trying new designs and fulfilling and shipping worldwide.
I love how easily Printful integrates with my Shopify store. Once you have everything set up, everything else is automated. The quality of the majority of products is good. I like the customization option for the packaging that makes it looks like the product shipping directly from my organization by including our logo and other information.
Even before COVID, fulfillment time is a little long in today's immediate gratification shoppers. I have received a few customer complaints on fulfillment time. Pricing is a little on the high side which eats in to our profit margin.
Printful completely solves the issue of print on demand fulfillment. The greatest benefit is my ability to be mostly hands off once everything was set up and synced up. They have also reworked our artwork when necessary for particular embroidery at no additional charge. The customer service has always been easy to contact and quick to problem solve.
Printful had the potential to become the forerunner in the POD industry but has lost focus of who drives sales to their door.
Their printers are not held accountable for quality or timelines. We have 2 orders that ran past the deadline and both customers are filing a chargeback as they do not want to wait past the promised dates. This will cost me the price I pay to gain these customers, the negative review they leave and the fees Etsy will charge. Their customer service describes this as an 'inconvenience'. When the money comes out of my pocket and not Printful's and the negative reviews are seen on my store and not Printful's, this seems like they care only about padding their pockets and not customer service. The products were purchased on Aug. 29th. This should have been a few days to print a hat! Finally after chasing their horrific customer service when Etsy flagged the order as 'past due to ship', they think maybe they can finish producing it by Sept. 20th but offer no guarantees. Throw in an additional 7-10 days for USPS, that brings delivery to the customer around the 30th of Sept....at least. This is not only laughable but pathetic. This is a design on a hat that is already in USA not some complex production. I don't understand how this ridiculous business model is sustainable but know I will not put my business and my customers at risk. I have chosen to transition all Printful products from all of our sales channels and move our business to Printify. They have been very stable. Just an idea Printful....if you can't deliver products in some sort of reasonable time frame, give paying customers the option to purchase elsewhere by indicating proper fulfilment times right on the product pages. I now know you don't care about the effort us sellers put into making your business thrive or even possible. In return, I don't care if I sell your products ever again. There are so many up and coming POD companies that still believe customer service is important.
Printful is helping us to decide to switch to another print on demand company. This is stopping the waste of time, resources and money for our company that we are seeing as a result of using Printful's services .
nothing. It is the weakest link in our business. It is an embarasment to the word business itself. I am at a total lack of words to describe how bad this company is.
the only explanation for Printful's existence is some bizarre experiment in trying to do everything wrong just to watch how people react. Please end the experiment.
Printful is only creating problems, costing us money and customer trust.
The concept is good, and the technology to create custom items is reasonably easy to use.
The first issue is the inferior quality of items and printing. We used and ordered a wide range of shirts, hoodies, sweat pants, water bottles, phone cases, jackets, and dozens of more items over the last 9 months. The product quality and printing were always inferior - faded and blurred even though their system assured the print quality and files were good. The worst part has been dealing with them when multiple packages placed by various customers fail to arrive. They do nothing to track or notify of these events and then absolutely refuse to assist in any way to help resolve the issue. They refer you to a website that is in Chinese and proceeds to tell you that you're on your own from there since they have it marked that they sent it out. After several customer complaints, we gave them the benefit of the doubt, but the same issue keeps reoccurring, and they refuse to help or support us. It has been one problem after another, and they refuse to take any accountability for assisting the customer using their platform. Again, we wanted and tried to make this service work and gave them more than enough chances to help us stay a customer. If SERVICE and quality are essential to you and your customers, you should avoid using Printful by all means necessary.
It would allow us to sell merchandise on demand if it worked as described.
Nothing. Do not buy from this company. I submitted a simple t-shirt order that they never delivered. Not only did I not receive it, but USPS never received it from them. They did nothing to help me.
Printful owes me hundreds of dollars for never completing my order and then telling me they can't do anything about it. They told me to look for the order on my own with USPS. Disappointing, It should not be a customer's job to find and deliver their own package. Order at your own risk.
Customer service entirely unhelpful
