Airtable is fast, secure (supports SSO login as well), provides easy data visualisation and it's from the best tools that can be used from teams to communicate. It can also be used as a task assignment software and thanks to history recall and commenting functionality, teams within an organisation can really talk to other things without being experts on other's team field. For instance a support agent can create a bug request to the development team without the support agent having to access more complicated bug mangament software.
If you don't have a premium plan and you want to synchronise data between two databases, there is a button that synch the data. It's really difficult to find that button. I am searching for it all the time. And with the latest changes on the UI, I am searching even more every time.
Mainly it helps to gather data easily via Airtable forms and process them. It's helping on HR process, managing social media posts schedule thanks to the calendar feature and assigning tasks to team members.

I find the look of the interface very pleasing. It is easy to work with and much more visually appealing and efficient than Microsoft Excel, and much easier to use than Microsoft Access, especially for someone who does not have the knowledge to use Access. I really like that I can connect to other tables and other databases with such ease. I also like that I can use forms to enter new information and share those forms with my customers. I also use Airtable forms on my website so that customers can upload images to be printed (I run a print shop). Airtable forms are also a way for customers to contact me, and I like that I can customize the kind of information I require of them. For now I use Google Sites for my website, and I appreciate that I can easily embed the Airtable forms onto my website. I find Google Forms to be chunky and not as efficient as Airtable Forms. Plus, I have the added benefit of having the information entered go straight to my Airtable! I also like that I can use Airtable for other purposes, such as tracking income and expenses. I've also been using the Airtable extensions a lot to enter new data. I mostly use the "Embed Website URL" extension and drop in the link to the forms I've created. The Page Designer extension is a super helpful way to print labels (such as shipping labels or product labels), and it makes things really efficient because the data is pulled straight from the order that I can easily search.
The Android tablet version is not as convenient to use as the desktop version. I would like to be able to set up the views on my tablet version so that it aligns more with the desktop version. I would like to be able to adjust the size of the fields on my tablet app. I would also like to be able to "hide" tables so that they don't show up as tabs at the top of the page. Some tables are necessary to have, but I don't use them after they've been created.
It is helping me with production management and organization, cost tracking, inventory, and order tracking. I have become much more productive since I started using Airtable. Business performance has increased because Airtable lets me focus more on the production side of my business since it takes care of all the organization and management. One problem that I've had with being a made-to-order manufacturer is keeping track of all the tasks within an order. With the Airtable drop-down menus, I can easily track at which stage of the process any one order is. I can even track if I've invoiced the order, which solved my problem of accidentally creating double invoices for orders because I'd forgotten if I'd made an invoice for a particular customer or not.

I love how easy it is to create data tables that are completely customizable in how I use the data. I can manipulate things however I need to in order to get the end result I need. Airtable can handle most of the heavy lifting with data manipulation when I am developing web apps.
There are some features that other services like Zapier or Make have that I wish Airtable had. I think in time they will probably start to add some of those things, but in it's current state it has about 90% of what I need. It is close, but not perfect. Still it is by far the the easiest way to manipulate data and do all sorts of useful things with it.
I manage a lot of dates and timelines in a web app that I develop for. I can have Airtable handle all the heavy lifting with doing the math on windows of time based on given dates, etc. From there I can integrate with Google Calendar to automate scheduling, etc.

I found Airtable back in 2016 as a volunteer for a local civic institution. I learned to use Airtable in very short order and was able to create complicated solutions (bases) to manage our business processes. We used Airtable to completely transform the way we tracked payments and advertising submissions, reducing our error rate to almost zero and increasing our receipts.
Airtable is great if you like exactly what Airtable offers. Its lack of UI customization is a minor hindrance but does mean that some of the processes are more cumbersome than I'd like. Additionally, the inability to easily and automatically look up data from other tables without manual intervention is challenging for infrequent and sporadic users. Finally it is just a bit too easy for users to change parent information; it is not clear to them when they are in a different table and need to change the attached record, rather than change the value in the parent record.

We need to manage the names of the actors and their parents, track their financial contributions, as well as all submissions to our playbill, then use Airtable to ensure that all the advertisements and "good luck messages" purchased by the community, friends, and family actually get printed.

Airtable is very intuitive to use, fast and a great way to manage data. I often use their forms to collect data and then slice and dice, filter, alter it as needed. The colourful labels are a nice plus as well. And auto-generated, self-updating dashboards.
I wish there would be a better way to customise the background design of their forms - adjust the colours and the intro text style override, but it is not that big of an issue.
I like that I can collect all kinds of data - the usual text entries and also uploaded files, all in the same place. Also, easy access with team or clients. And it works much better / smoother than Google Sheets or MS Excel.

The structure allowed us to build a sort of "Agency ERP", tracking client projects, contractor tasks, platform payments etc. It allowed me, as the agency owner, to spend less time on day-to-day operations management. And with PowerQuery API we've built all the necessary business analytics tools.
Didn't find a way to maintain one-to-one (rather than one-to-many) links between tables.

It is an awesome tool. It lets you organize your information, align teams, set limits, and change the views to whatever fits your needs best. It has all kinds of integrations and automatizations, which I love.
It is an awesome free tool, the paid plan is totally worth it for the first tier. But it is too expensive to work with teams, so our whole team uses the same profile.
And sols the data storage issue, the automatization issue, the funnel and draft order issue. I have over 30 automatic sessions, with more than 300 steps. I have around six external apps connected to it. It is the core of my business operations.
Airtable's flexibility meets all of our needs. We use it as a CRM, organize our work orders with it, maintain our operating budget, push info out to our field team and much more.
The only downside to Airtable that I can think of is there's a little learning curve to get it set up initially. You'll need a clear idea of how you want your system to function because there's so much functionality it can be set up infinite ways.
Before Airtable our business was run with a legal pad and pen. It was all but impossible to maintain. With Airtable we've been able to scale our business and the platform continues to grow with us.
I love that Airtable is so user-friendly. I don't have to repeatedly use "help" to find the functions/options I want, but the help is helpful! I spend less time on admin and more time on organizing my data (which is synced with Zapier) for whatever query I need. The free account does 99% of what I want.

Airtbale is feature-rich, but highly customizable. You can do anything that just about any other productivity platform can do in Airtable, but you can shape it around your specefic workflow. I have a background in computer science but have moved to a more creative, less technical career. Even though my new work is less technical, I often found myself wishing I had the time to spin up a database and write some apps so we could have a CRM and automation perfectly customized to our needs. And then, my nerdy friend showed me how he used Airtable (I think to organize his movie collection), which literally changed my life.
I don't have a whole lot of complaints! It can get a bit messy with larger processes and more complicated workflows, but most of my complaints are being addressed with the new Airtable Connected Apps platform. The 2-way sync feature coming in 2023 will simplify our processes significantly and, depending on the implementation, fix most of the issues I currently have with AT.
Airtable solves a lot of problems in regard to planning, scheduling, communication, and organization. Keeping track of our leads in all lead generators would be next to impossible without a solution like Airtable. We've also been able to use it to keep track of our project and customer information, so our whole team can be informed and leave a great impression on all our clients.
