I really REALLY wanted to like Bigin by Zoho. It's minimal but packed with useful features for a reasonable cost, making it a perfect choice for startups and solopreneurs. I'm a solopreneur and I have an affinity for lean, effective tools. I've used Less Annoying CRM and Streak in the past, and loved them both. I wanted to love Bigin the same way, but they blew it.
It's buggy to the point of being dysfunctional. Using Bigin actually lost me money in lost productivity. And their customer service team is inept and useless. On three separate occasions I lost over 200 contacts -- Poof! Disappeared! Luckily they were in Bigin's recycle bin but this regime uncertainty doesn't encourage trust. NOTHING IS MORE IMPORTANT TO AN ENTREPRENEUR THAN THE INTEGRITY OF THEIR CONTACTS. Bigin does not take this responsibility seriously. Worse, on two occasions (that I know of!) I had prospects text me telling me they had filled out my contact form, but I never received them. I asked them both to re-submit with the same result. Who knows how many potential customers I've lost because of this? Worst of all: in each of the situations listed above I contacted Bigin's support department to no avail. Oh, they ANSWERED. But they were not only utterly ineffective at fixing the problem they were seemingly incapable of effective troubleshooting. Compounding that is an inability to listen to the customer. I had to explain the problem on multiple occasions, over and over again, and they still didn't get it. At one point I was instructed to "Contact Google" before they terminated the session. Basically, they threw up their hands and blew me off. This is unacceptable.
None / Zero. I've literally LOST money because of this fiasco - lost productivity, hours spent engaging with their team and manually correcting the fallout from the bugs - all money down the drain. I've received neither an apology or a refund. At this point, I just want this nightmare to go away.
Easy to use CRM system with affordable plans, and great pipeline management for our SME. Simple enough to implement within our business. Customer support seems okay although they are offline right now which surprises me as I'm writing this at 3pm on tuesday. Great features.
Aesthetically not as easy to use as Salesforce.

One area where Zoho Bigin falls short is its limited integrations. While it does integrate with popular tools like Mailchimp and QuickBooks, it would greatly benefit from a wider selection of integrations to make it even more versatile and valuable for businesses. Hopefully, Zoho will continue to expand its integrations in the future to make Bigin an even stronger contender in the CRM market.
Lost cost crm
Easy interface, very straight forward!! easy to implement and doesnt require much effort.
Tutorial videos! although i is straight forwrd it would be nice to see all the possible capabilties of it.

As a sales manager, I have been using Bigin by Zoho for quite some time now, and I must say that I am extremely satisfied with its performance. Bigin has been a game-changer for me when it comes to tracking sales opportunities and managing my recruiting pipeline.
There isn't anything really I don't like about Bigin.
One of the key features that I use regularly is the ability to set up custom workflows. This has been especially helpful in managing my recruiting pipeline, as I can set up stages for each candidate and move them through the process as they progress. This has made it easy for me to stay organized and on top of my recruiting efforts.
Bigin is deceptively powerful. It is the only CRM I've ever been able to get results with - all others I spent more time setting up, figuring out, customizing, and getting lost in the weeds with than actually using to get sales. Bigin is different - it has everything I need to track deals, automate lead follow-up, and communicate with prospects but is easy to get up and running quickly with.
One thing I wish were more streamlined with Bigin is tracking email communication with prospects. Depending on if an email was sent within Bigin or separately through Zoho Mail, etc it's not all streamlined and easy to track the customer communication. I have to choose separate views depending on where different emails were sent from. So I'm happy it does track all email communication but it's a little disjointed.
Bigin helps me automate lead follow-up and nurturing and closing sales - quickly, without getting caught up in 1,000 features I don't need and will never use.

There are lot of integrations for example zoho book etc. It would help if you were a bit more patient with data export and import.

Bigin is simple. It doesn't have a lot of the unnecessary bells and whistles that look good but you never end up using. It's a clean, simple, but effective pipeline.
Bigin's downfall is the customer service call center. While they are friendly enough, their heavy accents make it difficult to understand, and they practice that annoying call center tactic of repeating everything you say. It really gets annoying after a few minutes.
Bigin has replaced using spread sheets for me and my team. The work flow is much better and clearer and easier to keep track of verse using a basic spread sheet.

Great resources on the general features available online - but can be hard to get SPEFIC support. Only email available in my area - no direct calls support with very limited hours.
Our organisation is always getting more leads entering our pipeline! Bigin allows management and team be aware at what stages everything is at. A lot easier than a spreadsheet!

Customers are constantly asking me what their starter CRM should be and I find Bigin to be easy and economical.
It is super affordable, especially for someone just starting out. You can get one user for just $9, and you can link and use Zoho forms and other neat add-ons with the Zoho family.
So far, I have not found anything that I dislike. The customer service was super quick to respond when I did have questions.
Having a centralized location (rather than Excel spreadsheets) has been a GREAT addition to the team. We do not have to stress about version control anymore as Bigin has become the source of truth.
