ClickUp offers a variety of pricing plans to cater to different user needs. Here’s a breakdown of their tiered pricing structure:

The Business and Business Plus plans offer advanced features and increased automation, making them suitable for larger teams or businesses with complex project management needs.

Software | Starting Monthly Price | Free Trial | Time Tracking | Budgeting Tools | Task Display Views | Real-Time Chat | In-App Video Recording |
---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
ClickUp | $5 per user | Yes | Yes | Yes | List, board, timeline, calendar, box, Gantt, activity, mind maps, workloads, table, map | Yes | Yes |
monday.com | $8 per user (three user minimum) | Yes, 14 days | Yes | Yes | Board, timeline, Gantt, calendar, list, files, map, chart | No | No |

However, other tools like monday.com and Asana also offer robust features, although they lack real-time chat and in-app video recording. Trello, on the other hand, is a more budget-friendly option, but it lacks time tracking and budgeting tools.
Absolutely! ClickUp’s free plan is indeed free, with no hidden costs or strings attached. This plan offers a robust set of features including unlimited tasks, unlimited members, and up to 100MB of storage. It’s a great option for individuals or small teams who are just getting started with project management software.
While the free plan does have some limitations compared to the paid plans (such as storage limits and access to premium features), it still provides a comprehensive toolset for managing tasks and projects. So, you can definitely start using ClickUp for free and then decide if you want to upgrade to a paid plan as your needs grow.

Quick Notifications for Mobile and Time Tracking,
It is bit slow, needs to optimze for speed and page loading
Clickup is trying to optimize loading speed, which may help a lot.
There are so many customizable options that you can ensure that ClickUp works how your team works.
This is a tough question! There are some minor features I would like to see added, but ClickUp has a feature forum that you can use to let them know and they provide status updates.
ClickUp makes sure that everyone has the proper visibility into the work that is being done and when.
The best thing about Clickup is its feature improvements have come quickly and dramatic improvements in usability have become pretty commonplace throughout the software. I can quickly create a list within an organized folder for each client in the firm, and assign out tasks from that space showing the client what they have and what they can expect moving forward, and of course, this is always updated in real-time.
The biggest painpoint for us when it comes to clickup is that we need to have our client's email associated with each task. Instead of offering a quick and easy way to do this, I have to create the same automation on each list, creating a repetitive process, which is something Clickup itself uses as a brag, saying it eliminates these from your workflow. I also wish I could privatize the list views for my client that "owns" the list, as we have one per client, but that would cost money so instead I have to send a public link to them. This typically isn't a problem as our information isn't in any way sensitive, but bear that in mind if yours is!
Clickup solves multiple problems: We can easily create email templates which saves tons of typing to clients We can easily pull tasks and duplicate them to other lists which is great for getting multiple clients on the same show We can automate simple tasks like adding certain assignees to different list depending on who is taking ownership of the list and adding customer email accounts as well as their assistant's email account into the list Reporting is easy to compile and run and links to publicity work-to-date can easily be seen by the client
I use ClickUp for all my Tasks. ClickUp is great because it's so easy to create a task and add it to a Space. I can add priority flags that then enables me to order the Tasks by priority. Tags also are useful to quickly see the status of the Task, or to search for related Tasks. Sub tasks are also very useful to sub-divide larger tasks. Files can also be attached to a Task, which is really handy. I only use ClickUp as a small business, so presently I don't need to share Tasks with others, but should my business grow, I may need to use this function. It's great when a Task has been done, as a mere click renders the task set to completed. ClickUp is an important part of my business. I've used other Job management software, but never stuck with them, but I'm still with ClickUp after a long period. As the software is easy to understand, I've not needed to use the support system.
There is nothing in my case that is negative about ClickUp. And I can't think that there is anything else it could do that I need as my needs are relatively simple.
It helps me keep on top of all my jobs, particulary client jobs. I can also use it to keep track of marketing activities. I also use it to keep track of jobs that have been invoiced and whether they have been paid or not. I even use it to track jobs at home.
Easy to use and UI/UX is great.Great ease of use, and I use it EVERYDAY!!
Less noticications! I dont really like the AI tools
Team capacity, time tracking, deadlines
ClickUp has tons of features that I hope I'll need to use someday, but besides that, it's pretty simple and straight-forward to use.
Nothing to dislike so far, but sometimes it's a bit slow on large lists of tasks.
With ClickUp we can manage all workload of our team and give visibility of it to our clients.
The best thing about ClickUp is being able to have everything in one place. We can easily assign tasks to members of the team, and then have a full commentary on the tasks that allow us to track the journey a task has taken, from start to finish. It's so easy to link other team members, other tasks and other lists. I love the integration with SharePoint, that allows us to add links to sites hosted on our company SharePoint, instead of ending up with multiple different versions of the same file. What sets ClickUp apart from other project management tools is the customisability of tools, features, fields, and the look.
It can be a little slow to load, and the page needs to be refreshed now and then to get the data to update on the screen. I would like more options with regards to resource allocation and management.
The Forms feature allows our users to easily submit ideas & suggestions, report bugs, put in internal requests & more. It's so easy to use, and then so easy to manage the tasks on the receiving end. The automations are powerful, allowing us to create tasks using templates based on the data entered into a form.
It's got a great layout for organizing your thoughts into easy to read and digestable manner. I've enjoyed entering in information with ease!
I think the layout to the right can be confusing when you have multiple drop down menus, especially using the mobile app platform.
We've like the use of colors to organize out our knowledge base sections.
The software's integration capabilities have simplified our workflow by seamlessly connecting with other essential tools, creating a unified work environment. It has become an indispensable tool in our daily operations. Its combination of user-friendly features, robust collaboration tools, and commitment to security make it a standout choice for teams looking to enhance efficiency and streamline their work processes. Highly recommended for any organization seeking a reliable and comprehensive project management solution.
Some of our team members have reported occasional glitches or slow response times, impacting the overall user experience. Additionally, the learning curve for new users was a bit steep, requiring some time to fully grasp the breadth of features and functionalities.
ClickUp is instrumental in solving critical challenges related to task management and monitoring within our organization. The platform addresses the issue of scattered information by providing a centralized space for task organization. This significantly streamlines our workflow, ensuring that everyone has a clear understanding of their responsibilities and project timelines. We utilize ClickUp extensively for our daily operations, leveraging its powerful features to streamline tasks and enhance overall task performance monitoring. The platform serves as a central hub for our team, facilitating real-time collaboration and communication. Whether it's coordinating daily tasks, tracking project progress, or conducting operational meetings, ClickUp proves invaluable in maintaining efficiency and ensuring everyone is on the same page. Its versatility allows us to adapt it to various aspects of our workflow, making it a cornerstone for effective project management and seamless team collaboration.
Provides all the necessary functionality for the project management. It's straightforward to set up and use and is flexible enough to configure for your business needs. Has amazing automation features, some of which are available in the free version. The paid version is pretty affordable, compared to the competitors. The design is great, there are many tutorials you can find on the integration of ClickUp features for certain products and workflows. Generally works fast and is super helpful.
Might not be the right fit for super big products/workflows because in that case under certain configurations, might become a little bit slow and messy. Regarding the features: - Some of the features are not perfect, especially the Documents section isn't great. - The statistics/analytics exports aren't configurable enough and aren't very helpful.
ClickUp is an amazing tool for Task management, Project management, Workflow automation, CRM, Time Tracking, Project Collaboration, Bug tracking, Incident management, and Event management. It saves a huge amount of time and helps to keep track of all the product-management-related processes and automate the workflows. Has also some other features, like chats, whiteboards for online collaboration, etc. which, in my opinion, are not the primary modules of this app but might be useful as well.
The ability to integrate with almost any optimization and tracking tool is a major plus for me. I also like the bubble on the browser that comes with the extension. A nice nifty little addition that I stumbled upon that has become a great saver is Notepads. I used to use sticky notes before but now with notepads I can itemize my mementos and talking points categorized based on topic, client and priority particularly when I need to remember something before client meetings.
The downloadable client side hangs quite a bit and sometimes changes in the cards take seconds to reflect. This gives the impression that the changes haven't been made which can inadvertently cause one to duplicate the changes.
1. Having a birds eye view of all of my client accounts, progress, salient events, blockers and timelines. This saves me lots of mental real estate 2. Categorizing mementos and talking points so I can whip them up when I need them right on the spot. That way I don't have to flood my desktop with color coded sticky notes 3. Creating a central repositiory for all important information about my accounts or at least links to them. Bye bye bookmarks
The Clickup is very complex and usefull software
Nothing I don't like about it at the moment
We use the program as a marketing agency. The best thing is that we can see all the tasks with deadlines and keep everything under control.
ClickUp is a very flexible and powerful work management platform with the most features available in a free plan.
For some users, setting up the working environment may be too complex, especially when going through settings of nested elements.
Project management with deep task customisation
It's very practical to use and the way things are organized makes life much easier
The time-tracking module still has a long way to go. Reports and API limitations.
It mainly helps the team to iterate on a given problem. Everyone involved can follow and contribute in a practical way
It has soooo many features and so much versatility, you can pretty much do anything you want to.
Sometimes, it doesn't refresh right away with new data/changes that you've just entered. That lag in refreshing is annoying.
if you send an email to me, it gets lost. If you assign it to me in ClickUp...there's accountability/transparency for both of us! ClickUp is making sure the little things don't get forgotten or fall between the cracks.
Los espacios de trabajos son geniales y las plantillas facilitan los trabajos.
Todo funciona correctamente, todas las funciones de clickup son grandiosas 😎
La gestión de las tareas, documentación de todo el proyecto en un solo lugar.
I've used a lot of different task managers but Clickup gives me the biggest pallet of customization options. It can handle IT-related sprints but also home duties calendar. I use it every single day. Along with mobile apps and browser addons it is very easy to integrate it into your daily habits.
What is the biggest advantage is also a disadvantage. Because of how big it is it's not always easy to set everything up.
With large numbers of different projects, it helps organise daily work. Some of them are big, and some are small but because I use clickup for both work and home stuff it's very easy not to get lost in managing my time.
Ease of use and intuitive interface. Excellent collaboration tool. Interface has great looks
Reporting is not optimal. Formatting of output is not the best.
Manage Help desk for clients
Definitely flexibility. You can use it to manage your company, plan your shopping list, schedule your studies or even catalog your coin collection. What's more, the functionalities make sense and adapt to different needs. For example, the sprint points can be adapted as measures of effort for an SEO audit.
The learning curve can be long for most users. There are so many possibilities that you can get a little lost at first. This gets worse if you're using the tool at a professional level (within a company, for example).
I use ClickUp as my second brain. There, I store insights, ideas, links to videos, and summaries of my understandings on various subjects. It also works for my SEO agency's project and lead management. The SOPs for my clients are also stored there. In addition, I use it as a tool to manage my studies in Data Science and personal planner.
