The collaborative document features Rock; and the ability to securely share large files with our clients on a continuing Basis is critical. We have clients who need access to new Materials each week and Dropbox blows away the competition in ease of sharing and permissions customization.
It's not the most beautiful and at times the navigation is a bit unintuitive. Even here I'm stretching because there's not much to dislike about Dropbox.
Easily sharing multiple large files of different types on a continuing basis.
What I like best about this software, is that it is very practical to use, especially when you want to share large files.
The only downside in my opinion is that sometimes the people I share files with don't know about Dropbox and think it's not safe.
It is limited to a certain number of GB and then chargeable.
Huge space allocated Easy to use Ability to organize files in folders
Nothing much, it's pretty easy to use Not very interactive, no dashboard
Access to my critical files wherever I am without the need to carry around my laptop Storage problems File security against loss and viruses
Faster, easier and private access to my files that needs to be remote.
Obviously it's the space. Nowadays you have loads of data to upload and if the internet it's not working properly, you won't get any acces to the files.
Remote access, uploading and downloading without to much fuss... financially it's great as it gives me more time if I am able to have everything accessible from home which leads to a more productive work
Dropbox has feature plugins to open and edit any kind of document directly in it's interface. This includes docs, pdfs, slides, etc. Moreover, these plugins work collaboratively, so you can share and edit files with your team mates.
Dropbox load time of documents in certain situations is slower than Google docs and Google slides. Additionally the interface is not as user friendly in terms of thumbnails and alignments and Google drive, but still better than dropbox.
We collaborate on our research documents using Dropbox. The file sharing and collaborative edits, have made it really easy for us to drive insights from our shared documents.
Use the free space to start, and then for when you need more space, they are economical plans. Within those plans, use the one that suits me best. Because I use it progressively and if you use it personally it is more than enough.
I don't like it when there are very large files and they take time to load! That's why I try to send files a little less heavy. But yes, it is very practical to save important files that I cannot have on my PC
The main benefit is that I can have all the space in the cloud, my files well saved and also have them in order to be able to search for them quickly. I can also share with a link so that other friends can download quickly and without complications.
The files are safe and secured, all the files are in good hands, even decades past still files are there, very compatible on Android and IOS,better than other application.
Nothing to dislike this product its total package, works properly easy to operate, the product is the best nothing to say about making this much better, very satisfying.
The problems that was resolved is about the safekeeping of my files, low costing, and my productivity gained high by using this product,my business goes well all the time.
The ability to get any file from any device with ease and the safety it provides from scammers
It is hard to open a new account on a device that you've used previously with a different account. You can uninstall and reinstall and it just would work.
My files can not be hijacked. Dropbox can just go back in my history and give me those files before the crime took place. The second solution is the retrieval of files when I am not at my computer. I can pull them up on my phone. It also allows me to keep my devices from getting full - I just send everything to the cloud.
I think that Dropbox is the real addition that took place on the emails instead of creating a computer network sharing inside the companies where the business can be monitored directly on the email from anywhere
storage is limited if you don't pay. I mean it is not the cheapest option and Not end-to-end encryption
Dropbox excels give people access to files and folders. It even has its own Google Docs, easy to detect problems because we are working on the same file at the same time
I appreciate the "free" version and service. I'm able to upload a lot of my files and then access them while out at a client's office or elsewhere, instead of having to bring along my laptop. Very convenient!
Not much to dislike; it's easy to use, files are easy to access; you can set up folders; and you can access your files from just about anywhere, AND print from Dropobox. Great service!
I can access my files from just about anywhere, AND print from Dropobox. I was at a print shop recently, and needed to give them a different version of a document, in order to print it for me for a court case. Instead of having to go back to the office, I was able to access the file and print it from Dropbox. Fantastic!
I like the features that enable me to safely and securely share data within my organization and the signing functions.
I cant think if a feature that I dislike.
I share financial data within my organization quickly with our teams.
I liked to file upload functionality and sharing functionality. And very useful for the developer because you can create a developer account and use API key for file upload. Very user-friendly anyone can understand.
i liked everything because I uploaded the small file, which helped me a lot. I still have not faced any issues. So everything very goods.
Right now, I've not faced any problems because dropbox provides a free storage plan, so I'm happy.
Better than other storage apps, and it's free!
It's laggy, I don't know if it's my operating system or network though
I have organized my business records, easy, and I don't have to carry stuff around
Dropbox's simplicity, ease of use and desktop integration have made it unmatched for me. One of the features I like best is the phone camera roll integration- you can preview the video, press and hold, and save videos or photos straight to your phone for social media sharing. This might be a simple or gloss over feature- but it's really been a highlight as most of my videos end up with social media delivery. I like the user interface a lot more than Google Drive, or other competing file sharing platforms.
My biggest gripe is that dropbox's playback quality can suffer, if you don't download the file. It seems to depend on wifi speed/data speed, however I've experienced some exceptional low playback quality in app, at times. However it seems to have gotten better and better in recent years. I also wish Dropbox had better playback tools for mobile. Sometimes video playback with odd aspect ratios doesn't scale correctly, or you get odd black bars.
As someone who delivers hundreds of videos a year to clients- I need an easily editable repository for those videos. Long gone are the days of setting up huge web upload cues, it's now as simple as moving all my videos for the day from an export folder to their final delivery folder in Dropbox. You can sort your dropbox folders from finder on your mac, and it automatically updates to the web. It's a simple feature- however it's really streamlined organization in my work flow- much like the saving to camera roll feature for mobile. It's simple integration features like this that make dropbox the front runner in file sharing for me. Everything feels thoughtful, and designed with the end user in mind.
I love the e-sign integration with HelloSign.
The desktop integration for Mac is being phased out. I shouldn't have to login to the web version to share out a file and other tasks. I want to do it all in finder.
I can share legal documents and contracts for review without attaching to an email. Saves time and space and is more secure.
It has a polished layout with a simple folder structure. We can add many users to folders and collaborate with them directly in the account. We can leave feedback and get notified when there is activity we need to tend to. The pricing is similar to other online storage services with a business aspect to it. We are given a good amount of storage space and organizational tools.
The functionality isn't always ideal for the types of communication I'd like to have. I wish there were more options for attaching notes to specific items and combining them in a broader chat section.
Our team uses Dropbox Business to share files that are large and files related to specific projects. We can organize our files in a more efficient way. Files are less likely to get lost. New users can get up to speed with our team with less work involved since all our shared files are in the Dropbox Business account.
drive map is easily understandable and the features are straightforward
the amount of storage you get before having to increase your plan
online storage
Cloud base and accessible, integration to other applications
Nothing in particular that I dislike about Dropbox
Access from anywhere, anytime, No need for server anymore, cost effective
What I like is Dropbox works exceptionally well. You can scan your documents superfast and easily also pdf views is so fast . I found it better than google's . Amazing experience till now.
There is no option to edit the file name before saving in Dropbox.if this feature can be added it will be great .it is very letter no issue.just wish it was a bit cheaper app. The fact that the basic plan with countless feature is free is awesome .
An excellent app to use doing business . I use for my large organization and teammates we just wish we have and affiliate program since we have invited so many to the platform .
