I’m basically coming from graphic design background and really don’t like coding! so The thing that I like the most about Duda is the Drag and drop option which let me design and layout my website easly and freely without using any code!
I think Duda needs to add more animated or motion widget to the platform which makes Duda more Fun and help the designers to built a dynamic and interactive websites.
Dudua solving a problem for a Designer such as me Who doesn’t like codeing and programming and Duda makes it easy to design and build a website without knowledge of coding!
Pretty easy to jump in and start using especialy if you have used CMS's before. Good help documents. Good support. SSL included.
Have to have a www infront of the domain. Can de a bit difficuly to intergrate in 3rd party apps.
Website platform and backend updating, we use alot of wordpress and you need to have a person updating it constantly.
Simplicity of use. Duda does everything you need without the need for coding.
Lack of customization for programmers compared to other more technical solutions. Could be built for more scale.
It gives us a great basic framework for a website and for our basic designs. Makes changes and updated quick and easy.
Duda is very powerful for agencies. It helps white labeling the complete system to present the customer a unique solution. Although it's easy to use and let developers enough space to work.
The only downside is the shop system. For the most companies it would work out but if you want to go deeper and want to give customer a unique shop experience it is quickly limited.
It's a perfect bridge from developer to customer. Customers can have a look at the website and if they want they could easy change some easy things without braking the website.
The flexibility and the tools I can use to manipulate my website has been great. The flexibility of designing is huge.
What I don't like about Duda, was that you guys raise the prices! For us who have multiple sites, maybe you can offer a deal on having multiple sites gives you a special offer!
The problem that Duda is helping me with is really tweaking my sight the way I really wanted to! At first glance everything seems very complicated but when you mess around with it and get to know the system for a little then you realize how powerful it is.
The site builder is both powerful for advanced users but friendly enough for an average business owner to be able to use. Its flexible and gives useable features like the blog.
The only real challenge is the export function should a customer want to leave, is not very good at making a site which is useable elsewhere without a fair bit of work.
Its so quick and easy to build nice sites
I love how user-friendly it is for our clients (and for us). The visual editor is a big help in allowing our clients to make small edits for themselves, saving us time and ensuring they can have their edits made in a timely manner. We love being able to onboard our clients to our white-labeled editor and seeing how quickly they catch on. The clients love being able to make their own small edits, while also knowing that we are happy to help them with any big design changes they want to make!
Sometimes it is a challenge to get the proper support needed when working with the third-party widgets, and the support can take longer than required. We recently had this issue with the Loxie widget, and it was frustrating both for us, and for our clients. While I generally find the support is amazing, when waiting for the third party to get back to our Duda support person, it is hard to know how long is reasonable and sometimes the answers given are not ideal.
We are helping solve access issues to organizations and services that otherwise were struggling to help their clients find them. Duda is a benefit because we can create beautiful pages for our clients with excellent SEO results and ease of use.
The editor is easy to use, they add interesting new features every month, the website is well ranked in Google with little effort, it is possible to create a good looking and efficient website quite quickly, support is very quick to respond, always nice and helpful.
It's a shame that computer and tablet format cannot be separated like it is the case with mobile format. The developper mode to add css or html code is not so user-friendly in my opinion
Create good looking website quickly, that can be taken over by clients easily once the website is ready. Creating a responsive and well ranked website is quite easy without using any external app.
- Ease of use - The support it has for languages written right to left like Arabic - The security - The constent updates - Reliability - The live chat feature - The fact that you can add your fonts
- The new flex has a learning curve - Support used to be faster - A lot of features are still not being considered, because it relies on community voting - I'm afraid it is becoming like wordpress, a lot of 3rd party apps are being added
- The fact that it supports right-to-left written languages like Arabic. - The constant updates that roll with new algorithm changes on the internet. Which have helped our businness by gaining more clients from the Arab world
It is designed to look really much better on mobile devices.
Tech staff is really responsive. Some of the recent design changes are cumbersome and don't work as well.
The platform is structured in a way that allows me to give potential clients access to a well designed portfolio page.
A+++ Support, stable and robust system, great design capabilities
Some older widgets a bit outdated, animation capabilities could be better
I am a graphic designer with limited code knowledge and was able to switch my business from 80% print / 20% online to 80% online during Covid
New pages can be built easily and very quickly. It does not require a developer, anyone in the company can use this. The ease of use also makes it very easy for the customer to manage their site. The connection to the store is another added value for the customer, which is used very often.
It is a pity that the members area excludes the blog area. For this reason we have to rely on an external tool. It would be nice if this is built in a timely manner, that the blog can also be protected by the member area. The demarcation between the individual viewports is partially not implemented accurately.
Duda provides the customer with an easy platform to create their own site and maintain it. Especially in times of Corona, where many small companies needed an additional store to stay afloat, this was a very big added value.
Ease of use and administration, edits, page creation, flow
the ecomm store integration and ability to use or features other CC processors besides Strip or PayPal. No good advanced or detailed reports on sales
different store presentation items and advanced features of CC processors
Flexibility, You can easily change things, support for multiple clients
There are a couple of glitches on the tool bar and limitations on customizing the design
The fastest way to create a web page with support for easy customization and open to other clients web pages
There are lots of things to like about Duda web hosting. One: Their websites load fast. Two: Their monthly plans are cheap, so trying out different ideas and different websites is easy. Three: Duda doesn’t drown you with upsells every time you hit publish. Four: The drag-and-drop interface is relatively easy to use. I’ve tried a lot of different website builders, but I keep returning to Duda.
The main reason, why I’ve looked elsewhere for a website in the past year is that Duda has the absolute worst email collection “plug-in.” Yes, they offer a third-party app for a decent one, but who wants to pay extra for something so basic and which should be included in the software itself? The email provider integrations are extremely limited also.
As a content creator, I'm always trying out different ideas. Duda is usually my go-to for building a website quickly to test proof of concept.
It is very practical to create simple websites for clients with small and medium-sized companies.
I will not deny that it has some limitations. For example, the topic of blog management and its limitation of entries.
It will solve several problems. Little by little the platform is improving day by day. The last one that was improved was the private customer area.
Easy to build websites for our customers. We have a meeting set with duda once a month which is nice if we have questions.
Some things are hard to understand or navigate. Especially for users who are less tech-savvy. Requires a lot of hand holding for them. If something isn't working it's hard to debug as well.
Ability to set customers up with websites who haven't previously had websites. Helps them grow their business and helps us by getting them more integrated into our softwar.
I think my favourite feature on Duda is all the built-in widgets and pre-made sections. As primarily a graphic designer who has adopted web design duda is perfect for me. I can approach a site with the designs mapped out in my head and whatever it is I'm trying to do I can make that happen with the widget and sections ready to go.
I wish that it was possible to copy and paste from one site to another. I also wish there was a way to select whether the desktop design was to be reactive across tablet and mobile.
I create multiple sites a week for my job and being able to save designs as templates, save designs as sections to be re-used/adapted saves so much time that would otherwise have to be done via hmtl/css.
- Easy to use the drag + drop website builder. - Nicely designed templates to choose from. - Affordable monthly website prices and agency plans. - Organized files and assets. - The feature where you can download images from a current website and load them into your Duda files is incredibly useful and time-saving. - Great and thorough customer support via email and phone. - More design flexibility than many website builders such as Squarespace. - Significantly easier to use than more custom platforms such as WordPress. - Nice e-commerce features and easily customizable. - Thorough data security built into the platform.
- There are not many built-in integrations with other apps such as email marketing, CRM connections with contact forms, membership communities, and online scheduling/courses. - Sometimes web pages don't display properly online temporarily, even when they are designed properly in the dashboard. - The royalty-free icons that come with Duda's website builder are not easily searchable by keyword. - The pricing strategy for the individual costs of their websites and the agency plans are really confusing. - The support/help articles are mostly text (no images). They're often very vague and don't answer the question I am looking for. - I haven't found a way to add multiple credit cards to my account so that my clients can pay for their own website subscription. - Duda's custom-code (that's a different language from what Wordpress uses-- I think?) makes it difficult to find specialized developers who can build more custom websites and software on the platform. - The analytics feature isn't very sophisticated, so I use Google Analytics for better metrics.
- I am able to have a really custom website. I get complimented on it all the time. There's no way I could have built something so custom with any other platform that I know of. - I am able to build websites quickly, in a fraction of the time and cost it would take me to build a website on a platform like WordPress or Wix. - I feel that my website on Duda is able to scale with me as my business grows. It has all the current and future features I'll ever need. - I like that Duda is constantly developing, improving their software, and keeping up with industry technology and trends. - I also really appreciated my onboarding video chats with Duda's team. Having that face-to-face conversation when I started really helped me see the brand as a team of talented and intelligent individuals who are genuinely looking out for my best interest!
