I have used a ton of CRM's and have loved many. Nutshell puts the rest to shame. All of the power that you have in a product like HubSpot like marketing automations and lead management automatio Nutshell has at a fraction of the cost. Also Nutshell's support is unparalleled. You can always get a human which is amazing.
The on feature that I was missing was email marketing automations. I used to integrate with ConvertKit to compensate, but with the introduction of their new marketing email automation tools this is no longer an issue.
Keeps my team organized. Keeps my clients organized. Takes a lot of the IT burden off my plate and let's me focus on sales and marketing.
I have used this product over a few companies, and I can tell you that it is easy to use, easy to learn, and very easy to set up. It integrates with many plug-ins to maximize it's value. The customer service is absolutely A+. The team is responsive, friendly, and truly class act. Because of the simplicity, the plug-ins, the ease in knowing exactly what tasks are necessary for the day, and streamlined drip campaign abilities, it is truly an enjoyable product to use. I should know, I've used it across 4 companies and set it up for three.
I wish that products like Slintel or Zoominfo integrated, but i think given enough pressure, they will. Slintel has already expressed that it would be added to their sandbox.
Setting up a new company, with prospective customers, thought leaders, and partners. In the past, I set up three company's contacts information for campaigns and prospecting-easily delineating the different companies prospect and contact list. Prior to that, establishing sales leads by sales person. Prior to that, simply building out my prospecting list and creating email templates by vertical, as well as follow up campaigns. Very easy to use.
I love that I can visualize my sales pipeline. However, I'm finding the dashboard really helpful on a day-to-day basis. I'm constantly referring to it to see sales tasks associated with leads. I'm a huge fan of the reports: they're extremely easy-to-use, intuitive layout and visuals, and so customizable and granular that I get better insights on how I'm acquiring leads.
In a dream world, I would be able to host frequently used documents on Nutshell to include in sales emails. I would also wish for a Nutshell - Todoist integration where as sales leads close, they create a project in Todoist and are added to my production queue.
I am running a much more successful business with Nutshell because it's helping me focus on priorities and stay on top of my sales pipeline. I know that I'm making more sales simply from following up with leads, and creating standardized content for sales emails, calls, etc.
The chrome extension to log what's needed all from one screen!
No complaints just yet, some times I just need to add a new task title to my dashboard
Organization, keeping client contacts in one place, saving important documents to my client's page.
It's a very intuitive system. It's not bloated with any unnecessary functionality and I can use it relatively easily on my phone.
The app needs some work. I can access basic reports and functionality but it has a ways to go to catch up to the desktop version.
We're tracking admits / leads / calls to an addiction treatment center. It's streamlined our admissions process and gives me as a marketer much more actionable insights than prior solutions.
I love that each step is completed with each customer, ensuring a streamline experience for all of our customers regardless of the sales person handling the job!
It says it will record emails exchanged, but that has proven to only work sometimes.
Our sales process is specific and each step is taken with each customer despite the sales associate who is taking care of them.
You can customize it however you need it. It's not just built for one company in mind. It can be whatever you need it to be.
The one thing that I wish I had more control over is the time frames that I can push back deadlines. Maybe Nutshell is already capable of this; I may have overlooked a setting.
We are solving a communication issue between our sales department and the rest of the team. Nutshell has become our way to show everyone what is going on and what needs to happen. This program has outstanding benefits, one being keeping information organized in one place.
Having used a handful of CRM's over the years, including the "big names" you hear about all the time, I truly found Nutshell to be the most efficient and effective CRM for my business. So many other CRMs, it seems, are competing in a race to see how many features they can add whether or not the features are actually needed or useful. Nutshell. on the other hand, gives users the tools they need to move prospects and customers alike through the different stages and does so in a simple, straightforward, streamlined way. Additionally, Nutshell isn't overly complicated, so even if you don't have experience using a CRM you can learn the ins-and-outs of their system in just a few hours of trial and error. Their customer service team is fantastic, and got back to me in amazingly quick time whenever I had a question. If you're wanting to cut cost (yes, Nutshell is also more affordable than some of the other CRMs you hear about all the time) or just want to simplify your customer and client management, Nutshell is the best choice. I'll never use another CRM.
While it isn't a dislike, per se, and I know that the development team is working to add some additional necessary features, if there were a way to embed a texting feature in addition to their click-to-call, it would be helpful as then you wouldn't have to switch over to a manually texting platform if your prospects or clients want to communicate via SMS. Other than that, there wasn't anything that I disliked.
The biggest problem I've solved is being able to reach out to my clients and prospects in a systematized manner without having to jump through the hoops of using multiple tools. Whenever i need to place a call, go to a meeting, send an email, etc. it shows up directly on my Nutshell dashboard. Also, I can look into the future, whether that be the next day or even a month from now, and see what activities are coming down the pike.
Simple UI, powerful growing features, analytic tools that create opportunities for real optimization across the funnel. The Nutshell team gets it. Nutshell accounts for the needs of a real growth team, which means having a tool that is as useful to the day-to-day work of sales teams, sales leaders, and growth leaders. Some would say the tool isn't "enterprisey" enough, but they would be wrong. There is extreme danger in the "total flexibility" and customization that other CRMs and Growth Software say they offer. Nutshell has made the important decisions for you, trimmed all the fat created by useless bells and whistles. Instead, they've built a software that provides a framework that fuels focus on all the most essential elements of revenue growth. And if all that wasn't enough. They have the greatest customer support and success team anywhere. Full stop.
The only thing I wish Nutshell could do was build faster. They have amazing ideas on bringing sales and marketing together into one, single, growth software. And they started in the right place. The Hubspot's of the world are built from the top of the funnel down. Nutshell is built from the bottom of the funnel up, which should be the priority of every growth team. I want more Nutshell!
I'm building a better sales process, optimizing that process, measuring sales activity, optimizing activity, improving win rates, growing revenue, forecasting, collaborating, and more.
Nutshell is incredibly flexible. You could use it to sell products or services. We end up using it to sell services and have made it work extremely well for our business. It's open API allows us to pipe data into many different parts of our business infrastructure. This has enhanced our ability to forecast sales and finances in a way we weren't able to before.
There really isn't much I don't like. We had to do some finagling to get it to work for a services company. A nice feature might be to allow for a bifurcation between product and services companies.
Transparent communication across our organization about sales status, concrete reporting about the value of our sales funnel, and the performance of our sales team.
It is an easy-to-use marketing tool for any company looking to get the most out of its client database. You can organize your customers based on many factors such as areas, customer interactions with emails you have sent out from Nutshell. Easy to capture any new customers you may have and great for following up with tasks, notes, and call features within the tool. Overall a great CRM for our sales team as we can easily organize our prospects and current customers. As well we can keep track of pending, hot, and close leads for better follow-up by our sales representatives.
When it comes to outbound calls from the app it is great for making it easy and loggable on the app. Although maybe an Inbound feature for calls would be nice too, so these calls can be logged when coming in. Besides that, I think the tool covers everything, any new features you can add to the app would be a plus for sure.
It is helping us with organizing all our customers and prospects cleanly. All the sales representatives log their customers, which benefits the whole team, so we are not contacting customers already being attended. Also, it helps us with reporting on how many leads we have open, lost, canceled, and won by month.
This email marketing tool is integrated with a great CRM. I can send daily emails and weekly newsletters to multiple contacts. Reporting on opens and clicks is integrated with the CRM as well so I can follow with phone calls in real-time. I have used Constant Contact and Mail Chimp and various capacities. The Nutshell Outreach tool is just as powerful. Yesterday it took me 2 hours to build a complex email marketing piece and send it to 4K+ subscribers. This includes designing the campaign with unique images and headlines. I was impressed as this was only my third email campaign with the outreach tool.
I wish there were more template emails. However, I can build most of what I need with the several email templates provided as a starter. Editing HTML email is cumbersome and this tool follows best practices for editing. YET, It is still hard to craft a solid looking email Template. They are adding functionality to Drip Sequences.
I can have a team of salespeople call their contacts in real-time as the newsletters are opened and clicked. We have hundreds of leads come into our organization monthly and can consistently & quickly keep in touch. We were able to implement a SOLID CRM into our organization on day one and not hire a consultant for a 6-9 month implementation.
It is so user friendly and great UI. Everything I need is easy to access.
The "click to call" button is dangerously close to the "delete phone number" button.
Tracking all leads and opportunities, visualizing sales pipeline, easy to access record keeping.
Their CRM is very flexible, but also easy to learn. We had spoken to two other CRM companies, but picked Nutshell because: 1. Their staff responded quickly and answered questions promptly. 2 .Their CRM allows us to build it for our needs, make changes and additions on our own. 3 .Other CRM system's we looked at were more expensive and needed more outside help to develop and manage.
Any CRM needs a commitment to learn and use it regularly. It takes discipline.
We now have all our customers, leads, contacts in one database and can manage the information more efficiently. The forecasting and reporting features have gave us a better understanding of our business.
Nutshell is a very transparent, easy to navigate and flat view CRM platform. It's flexible, nimble and the Nutshell team is often making updates to assist with user experience. The support team is also extremely helpful and very responsive. It's just more straightforward to use than most other CRM tools, without losing any of the capabilities.
A few very specific features are still very sales-product oriented, and we use the CRM a little differently than a traditional sales/product oriented team.
Nutshell helps us better track our active opportunities and stay accountable following up with leads to drive more future opportunities.
I've used many CRMs, and this truly is my favorite to date. Nutshell is extremely easy to use and customize, there isn't a huge learning curve to use it! I love that with a push of a button it connects to the system I use to my constant contact account. It has an auto phone dialer which I really like...it keeps me hands free so I can take notes while I'm on the phone! It is easy to create tags and schedule follow ups with this system!
The only thing I dislike about Nutshell is that it doesn't include a calendar. Otherwise, the system is perfect!
Nutshell efficiently helps me to be organized with my leads and helps me track my prospects through the sales funnel. This is a very efficient CRM!
Well, I am learning more and more everyday as my business grows. I love the financial aspect, the reminders, the email capabilities, the SMTP. It's easy to use and the people are amazing at Nutshell. I really mean it! EVERY SINGLE PERSON I have ever talked to there has been outstanding and patient with me.
I can't think of anything. That's an honest answer. From what I use it for, it does it all for me.
I have been able to use it as my calendar, remove constant contact, and call list.
I wanted an easy to add leads crm with some nice visualisation. I have tested many different CRM's before making a final decision as I had to do the research on behalf of my other team members as we all together as a whole SEO department were going to use a CRM to add and work with leads.
I had to find my own way how to make sure that when I type in the search name of the website I will get the system to show me the lead I need. There is a trick to it and since all my leads are named by the websites, that had to be discovered.
I use Nutshell to quickly add leads and work with them. It helps me to keep a track of recent contacts and notify me about next contact date.
Everything we need is there... not less nor more!
Quality of reports Please more Integrations...
Communication in between all employees... Benefits: Gain of efficiency
Nutshell is a fairly basic CRM, but that's where the beauty of the platform is. There's no extra "stuff" that makes the environment complicated or difficult for users to navigate. It's very straightforward to enter in new information, track leads and assess your pipeline.
Nutshell's ease of use and simplicity does create an issue when it comes to reporting. There are limits to the reporting you can do in the system and often you'll have to export all the data to Excel to get analysis you actually want.
We used to track our pipeline in Airtable and Trello. With Nutshell everyone has visibility into what is happening with our pipeline, can see notes on interactions with leads and track the revenue associated with each lead. It's helped our team be more aligned on what is going on with our business.
