I really like the accessibility to develop links for events and have attendees sign up for the events and checking them in. Then automatically sending them a thank you email.
It took some time to learn how to build an event invite, but it was still pretty user friendly.
We use this software for inquiries and events. To be more organized and have a funnel for prospective students.
GreenRope is easy to use and set up, yet very powerful in terms of creating groups, automation and email marketing.

Some of the functions and settings are hard to locate when composing an email message. I also dislike that even though I'm the admin of the account that I have to approve myself to export contact lists.

I work in sports where I interact with lots of fans everyday. Greenrope allows me to log interactions efectively and make the most out of my member interactions.
I am not the biggest fan of the layout on the interface. It can be sometimes hard to follow and looks a bit dated.
During our ticketing season, greenrope allows me to log any "problem," customers I have and keep a detailed log of them that I can later address.
This is best for simple tasks, like uploading files to share, sending emails to lists. I've been on it for about 10 years and the look and feel of it has not changed much. It's not difficult to use but also not very intuitive for users, in my opinion.
It's kind of ugly as far as the look and feel of the platform. Could use a little love in updating the program to make it more aesthetically pleasing and modern

Automation, CRM, Email, Sales funnel... GreenRope is helping to keep all things organized for me.
The support. The software itself still has lots of ways in which it can be improved, but I can always trust that whenever I have an issue, I can get a quick response from the support team to address my concern. They have amazing support!
The software itself needs an entire UI overhaul. They are good at adding features, but as they do so, they seem to just slide them into places that don't really make sense. They ought to take a look at the UI as a whole and do a fresh revamp.
It certainly makes it much easier to track all of my leads through greenrope with the IMAP sync feature. It has saved a lot of time from keying information.
I like using the media storage and being able to create a link to a document.
It is aesthetically ugly overall and a bit difficult to navigate for a person like me who I consider myself a basic user - not a techie nerd but not dumb either. I think it could be much more user friendly and intuitive for an average person. It seems like it was designed for people who are very tech savvy.
Having a place to store documents
Greenroom's customer service support is outstanding. From chat to email to support from your sales person. Messages are answered promptly, and if the person you are working with does not have the answer, he or she will find to for you. No complaints!!! The platform appears full featured and meets most small/medium businesses' CRM and sales automation needs.
There is a steep learning curve and the help menu rarely seem to provide the answers, especially to what is assumed basic questions, however a quick chat usually solves the issue. My biggest challenge is that the platform is not intuitive at all and you will need training to fully understand the workings. The platform too is a bit clunky and old fashioned looking, it is not responsive and the app for iPhone does not meet the needs of an on the go sales person, especially annoying since the site is not responsive and can't be used on phone or tablet easily.

The customer service and help aspect of GreenRope was extremely useful and always immediate to respond. Live chat function could answer questions quickly and efficiently
I found creating email templates to be difficult in GreenRope. Not enough flexibility in terms of creativity and design. The process to save templates and use them at a later point was confusing and not user friendly. Although the customer help was very useful, felt we utilized it too often
GreenRope allowed us to expand our network of customers and professional connections, house New and old contacts and communicate on a large and small scale with these contacts.
The email blast is part of their software and a 3rd party isn't needed.
When importing data, mapping can be time consuming. Email blasts are not as easy as they should be to create.
We are able to send out mass emails quickly.
The customer support team is great. Almost always available via live chat and are super responsive. Also, you can't beat the price, period.
It just doesn't scale for B2B. It doesn't integrate with anything else we use. Even basic things like tying files to companies is clunky. It's perfectly fine if you're looking to move from spreadsheets to a basic CRM, but it's just that - basic - you get what you pay for.
They are responsive to requests for customization. We've been able to build custom fields and custom exports. But some of the solutions to our customization are work arounds that require lots of extra steps and user expertise.
Once formatting issues are done, it is easy to send out to team and update contacts.
Formatting is not easy, adding and placing pictures is a challenge, when using the same newsletter, formatting is an issue - fonts have problems, depending on which is used. Space for images is limited.

Questioning that.
I liked that you could score based on what pages a user visits. A lot of systems can't do that. It was also quite inexpensive, but it's severely lacking compared to others at this price point.
We spent countless hours talking with support just to get the basic functions up and running and even then it didn't work right. It was tremendously frustrating for the whole team and we eventually had to just give up on it.
We were lead to believe that Greenrope was suitable for B2Bs, but it just isn't. It just lacks many of the mission-critical features B2Bs need.
