"Great Entry Level Experience"
What do you like best about Zoom Events and Webinars?

Zoom is a brand and software that is trustworthy, reliable, and known to many as the "Kleenex" of online meeting platforms. Users are already familiar with the process which makes the RSVP rate, Attendance Rate and user experience predictable.

What do you dislike about Zoom Events and Webinars?

Zoom RSVP pages offer very little bells and whistles, and the meeting rooms are not as feature rich as other webinar platforms designed exclusively for such purposes.

What problems is Zoom Events and Webinars solving and how is that benefiting you?

Zoom is easy to use for both the host and visitor and is cost-effective. If you are starting out and building your webinar audience, zoom is the way to go until you need more features.

"Easy to use!"
What do you like best about Zoom Events and Webinars?

Very easy to use, works functionally like other platforms so if you can use one you can pretty much use Zoom as well. It's very user friendly and has a good interface.

What do you dislike about Zoom Events and Webinars?

There isn't much that I don't like about it, it's fairly user friendly and everything works fairly easily and quickly for me and my team so there really are no improvements needed in my opinion.

What problems is Zoom Events and Webinars solving and how is that benefiting you?

We were able to attend webinars and hear from other people outside of our company to gain valuable insight into our field from other people outside of our company

"Zoom is a useful tool for any organisation"
What do you like best about Zoom Events and Webinars?

Since 2020 the privacy restrictions are a huge benefit to zoom. There is no fear of anyone being in the webinar who shouldn't be.

What do you dislike about Zoom Events and Webinars?

The registration system is rather basic. The reporting could also be better, its very basic information and hard to understand.

What problems is Zoom Events and Webinars solving and how is that benefiting you?

Webinars are a great way to present content on a platform that most poeple are now very familiar with.

"Zoom webinars are great for leads but create confusion with CRMs"
What do you like best about Zoom Events and Webinars?

I love how easy it is to create a page that collects leads for attendees.

What do you dislike about Zoom Events and Webinars?

That zoom makes it difficult to capture the attendee leads using in-house landing pages/ lead magnets.

What problems is Zoom Events and Webinars solving and how is that benefiting you?

Sharing industry knowledge with interactive webinars that provide a value to our consumers and improves the brand.

"Reliable but could use more webinar functionality"
What do you like best about Zoom Events and Webinars?

Zoom always works as it should. Integrations are reliable, speaker/presenter access is reliable, and connection is reliable. I've never had to contact Support; which is valuable.

What do you dislike about Zoom Events and Webinars?

Zoom needs more actual webinar functionality. The ability to upload the deck or videos, and have any of the panelists advance the slides instead of just one person sharing their screen. Not to mention the fact that the controls are glued to the top of the screen. Also the it takes awhile for the recording to be made available.

What problems is Zoom Events and Webinars solving and how is that benefiting you?

We're able to present to a large audience of customers and prospects about our product and thought leadership topics. Then repurpose the recording of that presentation into video content that we can promote. We've seen millions in influenced pipeline from both those who attend the webinar and those who view the recording.

What do you like best about Zoom Events and Webinars?

The ease of being able to communicate with coworkers and colleagues from a distance. It makes meetings easy and we are able to involve more people

What do you dislike about Zoom Events and Webinars?

Sometimes a little bit glitchy. Have had issues with microphone not properly connecting from the other user’s end. Would be nice if they told you exactly what the issue was

What problems is Zoom Events and Webinars solving and how is that benefiting you?

Improving collaboration, including more people in on meetings, and staying more up to date with everyone’s progress

"Good but takes a little time to understand "
What do you like best about Zoom Events and Webinars?

It was easily installed and working, and quality/managing is good. Also unlimited for small number of people is a nice feature.

What do you dislike about Zoom Events and Webinars?

I was invited in a chat so it was somewhat strange to receive the mail with the link, it sent me to the page in order to register and then I had to go back to the mail to join, it was not automatic once registered.

What problems is Zoom Events and Webinars solving and how is that benefiting you?

Me and my boyfriend work abroad and had a meeting with colleagues in Italy with no problem, very easy and quick.

"Scheduled public events with Zoom Webinars"
What do you like best about Zoom Events and Webinars?

Zoom Events and Webinars allow organizations to create public-facing events virtually. Zoom being the leader in the WebRTC space user are quick to adopt the platform.

Zoom events and webinars is great for institutions that do not already have a video conferencing platform. Tiers are purchased yearly and while upgrading and downgrading are easy canceling is not.

What problems is Zoom Events and Webinars solving and how is that benefiting you?

in-person events are more challenging to pull off as the world deals with COVID. Zoom was ready to help companies get their message out with mature meeting options.

"Works well, often unintuitive"
What do you like best about Zoom Events and Webinars?

Scales up well. Seen it stably support a 100k person webinar. Works well on Win/Mac/OS X with a consistent interface (which is important when describing to someone, "Click here then here..."). Mostly painless audio interfacing.

What do you dislike about Zoom Events and Webinars?

Sometimes overeager to switch audio devices, even at a bad time. Controls for letting people in or speak are notoriously unclear, leading to confusion and zoombombing.

What problems is Zoom Events and Webinars solving and how is that benefiting you?

"My Experience with Zoom"
What do you like best about Zoom Events and Webinars?

Zoom was an average video chatting website. I did not like much about it, as it was not very easy to use, it was not very good quality, and there are many better video options out there other than zoom.

What do you dislike about Zoom Events and Webinars?

My camera never works when video chatting with someone, even though my webcam is enabled. I use other video products in which my camera works just fine. For some reason, I can always see the other person but they cannot see me. Also, the video quality always lags even though my internet is perfectly fine. Finally, the sound quality is never that great, and always goes in and out.

What problems is Zoom Events and Webinars solving and how is that benefiting you?

I have used zoom to interview with companies several times for internship possibilities, and I have not really realized any benefits considering there are better video chatting options that are easier to use.

"Simple webinar style platform"
What do you like best about Zoom Events and Webinars?

It was easy to use as most virtual meetings take place on Zoom.

What do you dislike about Zoom Events and Webinars?

The engagement features were minimal and did not appeal to a large crowd. The lack of opportunities to personalize was missed.

What problems is Zoom Events and Webinars solving and how is that benefiting you?

Unsure of any new developments by Zoom Events.

"It consumes computer resources more than preinstalled McAfee!"
What do you like best about Zoom Events and Webinars?

I like that it has an emoji keyboard, you can annotate with type-in text, options for hiding your self-view are available, and there's an array of ways to communicate - via phone, PC/Laptop Mic, External Mic device, or simply type.

What do you dislike about Zoom Events and Webinars?

I dislike that it consumes so much of my computer resources and freezes randomly. Especially after a meeting is finished and everyone has said their goodbye's, Zoom stands there and freezes - and it's a common problem for many people! I also dislike how cloud recordings are kept and deleted after a certain period without any option to extend them. Furtherly, I would like to know how my data is being processed, what data is being kept, and what's happening live-time with my data.

What problems is Zoom Events and Webinars solving and how is that benefiting you?

Zoom is helping (somewhat) with connecting people during COVID-19 restrictions and so on. But it's nothing special since numerous companies are doing the same each day, every day.

"Messy"
What do you like best about Zoom Events and Webinars?

Like best is that you can easily screenshare with this software.

What do you dislike about Zoom Events and Webinars?

The download takes up not only so much space, but the program itself is jumbled and messy, as reads in my title. It's not as user friendly as I'd want it to be - and it's not as nice to like at as Skype is.

What problems is Zoom Events and Webinars solving and how is that benefiting you?

Benefits are meetings with people from around the globe, at any time, any schedule, etc.

"Video quality is good, but incredibly sloppy and poorly designed"
What do you like best about Zoom Events and Webinars?

The video quality is the same you would expect from Zoom Meeting

What do you dislike about Zoom Events and Webinars?

I don't know who designed the Zoom Webinar portion of the product portfolio, but it's not clear they've ever used a computer. Everything about the experience - creating the webinar itself, setting up the landing page, broadcasting - is completely backwards and unintuitive. For example, under the "Branding" tab is where you add speaker bios. Really? And then for the polling feature, it has two options - "Single Choice" and "Multiple Choice." In Zoom-speak though, both are what we all think of as multiple choice, but "Multiple Choice" is where you can select multiple options. And then it has fields for about a dozen answers. I can't even describe it. It's almost impressive that they took what should be a stupid simple feature and somehow made it incredibly confusing. This is just a sampling. Honestly it's one of the worst-designed products I've seen. It's just one cluster on top of another. I'd short Zoom's stock just based on this. Incredibly sloppy.

What problems is Zoom Events and Webinars solving and how is that benefiting you?

Basic webinar. None. It's hurt us. The video feature wasn't working on the webinar with our client and they weren't happy.
