I enjoy the layout of the project lists and tasks, it’s user friendly and the help support team is always responsive
There are certain aspects I’ve requested changes for, like color coding each project but unfortunately they aren’t able to implement this yet
We have an organized workflow for each part of the project that each team is responsible for with tasks
I like the ability to track resources and see what upcoming tasks are due for the day. I like being able to switch from a waterfall to card dashboard.
Personalization is restricted and keeps me from being able to sort tasks and projects based my agency needs.

Teamwork is very easy to use .It helps to make the team work strength more stronger it helps me in making the project in very easy manner with the helps of my teammates.
I didn't disliked any thing about the teamwork projects.still I am using this software and my experience is very good
Helps me to make the projects for company with helps of teamwork projects. Thanks to teamwork projects that made my work very easy.
- Great overview in Kanban view - A lot of API's offered - An array of users/admin rights offered
- No great usability on mobile app - Faulty API's and plug-ins
Generating a real-time overview of project responsibilities and their status. This tool enables us to streamline workflows and work more efficiently.
We have very few people in my organization who are willing to adopt Teamwork project; however, for those of us who are actively using it, the tool is more than adequate. Teamwork Desk has been much more valuable for us as an IT help desk ticket tracking tool.
Low adoption rate by users within the organization
Tracking steps used for repetitive projects has been very useful as well as task delegation.
It a very good software to work on the project together with project team, not required to physically available to discuss and individual can put there work and can update it.
interface is not good some time technical error affect the productivity, required more tools and easy to work.
working on projects with our convenience increase the productivity and efficiency of individual.
Can use for many different use-cases--from full agile to more lightweight project management solutions.
A little cumbersome to use at times -- the flexibility comes with a learning curve.
Project management and team collaboration (both internal and external).
The robust web application, easy to use. The file management is well thought out and we appreciate the integration with Box.
The mobile app solutions are abysmal. It's a poor mans version of a website iFrame, or so it feels. The UI is not intuitive, basically its the opposite of the web based experience.
Organizing our multiple projects and multitude of files with excellent permission control.
I love that all tasks are organized by project, and projects are organized by company. This matches real world scenarios which helps things stay more organized.
Billing. The billing feature is archaic at best. Each invoice line items is a time entry. There's no way to have a task per line item. Or even a project per line item (for clients who we work on multiple projects with). Compared to my previous billing platform, I'm spending 5x as much time to send invoices out each month.
The biggest WIN with Teamwork Projects for us is having a "single source of truth" for projects. In other platforms, we would be using 2-3 apps to manage a client (one for tasks, one for files, one for time tracking). But with Teamwork it's all right there. For example, we use the Notebook feature to record meeting notes - so the entire team can see. We're able to keep the entire team on track better with Teamwork. In summary, project communication is much better.
I like the gannt chart, the tools that let you prioritize tasks, and the calendar / milestone view. Oh and the intergrations
I don't like the notification function. It's a bit confusing to use.
Setting up deadlines for huge marketing website ventures (500-1000 hours).
I really like the task function - it holds the team and clients accountable. The structure also works really well for our team - we can have multiple projects under one client. The interface is clean and professional, so we feel good about using the tool with our clients.
The project plan part of it isn't as easy to use so we end up using spreadsheets. The time tracking part of it isn't that helpful since we can't do macro reporting.
Elimination of digging through email when searching for information, housing all project documents in one place, collaborating with teams and clients.
Teamwork lets you be extremely organized, with subtasks, swimlanes, tags, and more. You can add so much to your projects and issues so that you can sort, filter, and search for things in your project.
If you don't add all of the metadata to your project, things can be hard to find, and I think the way that filtering handles tasks with assigned subtasks is poor and can make subtasks harder to find and easier to miss. There is definitely a bit of a learning curve, especially if you are used to a much simpler interface like Github.
We have a good sized team using teamwork for a large amount of projects, and many projects also have clients using the software as well, which is helpful. Our projects managers are able to put in as much information as possible and we keep all of our collaborations in one place, so Teamwork is our canonical source for information.
Having the ability to set a dependency, adjusting the project timeline, seeing the Gantt chart, and making an adjustment in bulk.
Periodically something always went wrong with Teamwork (bugs, glitch, server down, etc). They are not a long period of time and not a big deal, but I feel like it has to be something went wrong on a weekly basis.
Being able to set a dependency for the project accordingly and also able to track the time very precisely.
I like that we can run different timers for multiple projects throughout the day. Then, the filter on pulling hours is very user-friendly.
I dislike that there seems to be a lot more we can do within teamwork, but we are not sure how to tap into it. I believe companies would benefit from a personal representative to ensure users are getting all the benefits.
Tracking hours, and monitoring the amount of time spent on each project.
G suite offers the ability to organize Google's most used ecosystem
Much if the software is very heavy and uses much computational resources
Organizing tools for business and communication
The ability to personally track your work hours and easily submit it to superiors; knowing what projects are expected of you
Timer isn't automatic or easy to stop so if you forget to logout then you could be tracking hours forever
Showing superiors what I've completed and what I need to be compensated for is the best function of this software!
I like that each project has multiple sections to use such as messages, tasks, milestones, etc. I also like that you can manage tasks and projects via email. We use this program to manage checklists with large amounts of tasks, and it helps keep everything organized as well as understandable for the team members who are in different locations.
It may just be the way our instance is set up, but I find it very hard to find the projects I am looking for quickly. I don't really like how the icons for actions only show up when you mouse over them. I think that the platform lacks some features for managing marketing projects, such as proofing or versioning.
We use Teamwork to communicate with international and external teams on projects.
I enjoy that I can create custom templates for each phase of each service we offer and then assign those task templates to a project so that my team can fulfill the service purchased. I can easily adjust these templates to assign different responsibilities with new projects depending on the workload of an individual which helps balance my team to keep things running smoothly.
I would love a rule-based setup where I can specify another task template get applied upon completion. Right now my top-level task is to manually apply the next task template which can at times run into human error issues such as forgetting or applying the wrong task template.
Teamwork ensures that everything gets done equally across all of our clients. Without it there would be no sure way of knowing what was done for sure or by who.
I love the clarity it provides for milestones and timelines. Really easy to chat with team members and clients as well.
No real way to track budget. You can keep track of hours, but it doesn't show as much as it could about budget and budget tracking.
This is a better way to keep everyone (internal team and client) aware of where the project is at what's coming up next.
It's easy to assign tasks to collaborators, get notifications, and monitor project completion. Assign Subtasks and get general overviews. Create task dependencies, set the level of priority of a task, assign a due date or time-frame for a task, and assign a task to one or more people. Integrates with SalesForce.
Seems it could be a bit more user-friendly. Website isn't that easy to navigate. Some parts of the program don't feel intuitive.
Integrating task management and better organizing projects. Easily assign tasks to co-workers to monitor their progress.
